I'm curious about something. In Christian black metal, we have artists (myself among them) that take black metal stereotypes, and just reverse them. Like Lucifer Impaled and his stuff like "none will escape holy might / demonic filth slaughtered, eradicated by His will".
Is there any Christian rap that's like normal, swear-filled, "violent" rap music, just from a Christian perspective?

Well there's people like T-Bone who talk about killing demons every other line. As for exactly Christian rap that's like normal, swear-filled, "violent" rap music, just from a Christian perspective . off the top of my head it would be Sevin. Some of his songs are explicit, though I don't recall any use of the f word. I posted in this thread his song 'Monster' which is all about violence, but it's about the violence he used to be addicted to, so in that way it doesn't really fit what you're asking about, i think.

A guy at my church told me about these guys today. Very good! That sounds awesome! I don't know in Edit: I forgot to finish my sentence before I posted this. What I was going to say was, I don't know in the rap community's eyes if this is considered "good" rap or not, but I myself liked it a lot! They certainly seem to have "flow" in their lyrics, which sounds quite nice to me. I posted in this thread his song 'Monster' which is all about violence, but it's about the violence he used to be addicted to Good grief, dude. I was just expecting some stereotypical rap posturing. I wasn't expecting... That gave me chills.

I listen to this song when I need to battle for my life. Edit: I love these dark tracks that are Christ-centered / gospel-driven.

Who do you serve? It's Jesus Christ or nothing. Who do you love? It's Jesus Christ or nothing. Who are you loyal to? It's Jesus Christ or nothing. What do you bang? It's Jesus Christ or nothing. Will you deny? It's Jesus Christ or nothing. What, will you cry? It's Jesus Christ or nothing. Are you willing to die? It's Jesus Christ or nothing.

Dude ( Borndead )!, I'm glad you liked it. When I first heard the creepy vocals I was like 'huh that's is weird' and then I was like 'huh this is weird but also amazing'. I've been trying to think of rap songs for nocturnaliridescence that are analogous to like 'kill the devil' Christian metal, so I'll add songs similar to the above too (please feel free to describe what exactly you enjoy about the song so I can use those details in looking for others). I really cannot emphasize enough how much I enjoy Sevin's work.

Is there any Christian chopper? I have been listening to rappers like Tech N9ne, Twisted Insane, and Yelawolf recently, which brought this question to mind.

The first one that came to mind was Canon -- not sure if you know of him already or if he actually fits what you're looking for. I used to listen to this short track by him for a while.

His primary style of rapping fits my criteria, but a lot of the other stuff in that track was a bit annoying. I will check out more of his work. Thank you!

For a decent amount of artists i really enjoy I remember the first song of theirs I heard. I remember not liking Glosilo (or whatever ... havent bothered to say/spell ther Icelandic song titles) by Sigur Ros, my favorite band. The first song by A Silver Mt Zion, probably my third fav music artist, had terrible terrible singing on it ha. Anyways, the first song I heard by Sevin is Dummy Slap. It goes hard but it's a little unconventional. I remember being like wtf for the following lyrics in the first verse: 'think before just signing up the drama can get funky like that thong that's in your mama's butt' lol i still dont know why he said it.

Not really, unfortunately.
Maybe I'll make a note to do that. Tomorrow starts my few-day break from Unblack Archives, and I want to get a bunch of non-UA stuff done in that time. Maybe I'll set aside some time and FINALLY listen to some of these songs.

New Reconcile single ("Any Means") is crazy; the new album is going to be amazing. If you love the hood, this is the dude to support.

Borndead the instrumental is from Drake's Pound Cake song. Lavoisier, a Christian rapper, murders that beat here. Donald Glover -- Childish Gambino or whatever -- also kills that beat on some radio show (findable on the youtubez).

MAN I love "real", intense rap like this. Not that I "mind" more lighthearted stuff, but I definitely prefer this.
