Soggy-wood dizzy-blaff !!! The name sounds drunken heh.
Quite busy, commands attention. The riffage tone is grungy and drums are crisp and pummulling. Certainly interesting and a somewhat of a unique twist of sound to my ears.

HAHA! The name sounds drunken because its Welsh! LOL
What you mentioned is similar to what blackmetalreviews dot com has said. Ankou Awaits is full of opposites. Its dark and it light, its heavy and its soft, its slow and its fast, repetitive and technical, tight and sludgy, tremolo and chunky, etc. etc. etc.
I reached out to a few (Christian) labels. They shouldn't have a problem with my offer, if anything, its because this project doesn't have the "This is a Christian band" stamp on it.

I want to listen to it, but I also want to wait to hear the full album without knowing what to expect! Decisions!

I never wait to hear anything regarding music. I gobble it up like crab legs.
I love crab legs.

I just spent HOURS updating the Ankou Awaits website. Good grief am I glad I'm done with that. New graphics and scripts and split up the merch section so its not just one long conglomerated page.

I also spent some time today launching a mobile version of the website. While the new graphics on the full/desktop version look great on PC, its really hard to see and navigate on a cell phone. Any device (or older PCs) with a screensize 800px or smaller will be forced to the mobile site.
Some exciting news!
Sobrwydd a Disgyblaeth is being released on Germany's No Sleep Till Megiddo Records! There will be a cassette and CD physical versions of the album - the release date for that will be announced later.
The album is available NOW for digital download! The highest quality audio files of your choosing for just $5 for the album and you can stream the entire album for your review. The album will be available at other digital vendors later, if you have one that you prefer.
You can get to the album player either at ankouawaits.com's Music page or facebook.com/ankouawaits App Music player.
Enjoy!

Have you ever heard the saying, you may hear something and hear something, but you don't hear something until you hear it? I "heard" these little itty bitty imperfections in the Sobrwydd a Disgyblaeth album. Something no one else would have noticed except for me.
I convinced myself all along that they were "unnoticeable" and gradually over time, those itty bitty imperfections were really starting to dig.
Long story short, this little grain of sand was getting more and more irritating every week and when I sat down to fix it (fix the music, replace backups, replace published music, etc.) it only took 30 minutes. Just think if I would have kicked the sand out of my shoe a week ago?
NOW that I've FINALLY made peace with my music, worldwide distribution begins - I'm uploading the artwork and music TONIGHT. Once I've got a barcode, I'll get the album artwork together for CD and cassette.
Stay posted for release dates!
By the way, BandCamp is so awesome. They literally have a "replace song" function, press update - it was a realtime update! No one else does that, that's for sure.

Well, Sobrwydd a Disgyblaeth is already on torrents, which is yippee hooray awesome. ._. I think they're compiling 128kbs rips from the streams available on BandCamp, but whatever.
I had someone contact me via facebook, something I rarely use. He looked familiar and asked if he could make a video of some of the new album.
He's got a rather large (almost 30,000 subscribers) channel that features a lot of black metal songs/bands, especially new releases. Coooooooooooool!!!!!

Anyone with an Apple or Android phone can download this album from their phone's music store. (iTunes & Google Play) I don't understand the pricing - I mean, I get to set the original quote, but many stores set their own price.
For instance, I set Oberour Ar Maro to be $5, Google Play is selling it for $9. I set Sobrwydd a Disgyblaeth to be $7, and Google Play is selling it for $6.99. I don't get it.
The CDs are in production and unlike the last two CD releases, there IS a tray card with artwork. Shrink wrapped and bar coded as always. Expected delivery is between May 26th and May 29th.

The Sobrwydd a Disgyblaeth CDs are now available. The cassettes are still on Pre-Order though, coming soon! Also new that's available is cassette releases of Lebor Gabala Erenn, Crog Buidhe, Wyllt and Oberour Ar Maro. This was through Wulfrune Worxxx, a French label with over 600 releases in 10 years! I revamped the store. You can order everything here: www.ankouawaits.com/physicalreleases.htmIf you want to order multiple items, don't pay the full shipping price. E-mail me for a discount and I'll cut you a group rate!

So anyway, I did this interview like, June 2015 when Sobrwydd a Disgyblaeth first came out. (I was still age 34 and turned 35 in July - LOL) ...she just got around to posting it. A decent interview I guess. ...to bad the image was from 2013's album. Currently on the front page. ghgumman.blogg.se/
