Has anyone bought anything from Nosral? Should we add them? (I personally haven't bought anything from them yet) Yes I believe they should be added. They are good people and they got some great music too. I'm friends with some of the bands as well and they're pretty cool. Not just that but Nosral is Rottweiler Record's sister label. And Michael John Larson from Frost Like Ashes runs the show. I vote yes to add Nosral Recordings.

Guys. I pulled Soundmass from the list of trusted stores. I know before they were listed, with a brief disclaimer to artists regarding reading the fine print of their terms....
...I got sent a few screenshots of emails that I found to be disturbing. Looks like Mr. Soundmass likes to play games and try to pull one over on other Christian metal stores.
Good customer history or not, I would say I would need several damn good reasons to list him as a trusted store again. Better yet if he could provide those reasons himself.

Good call. Soundmass played a game with me. I ordered an Eternal Mystery/Flesh Denial split download and only received the eternal mystery side of the split. I was really disappointed. He did refund half the order but the fact that he didn't have any disclaimer that he only had the Eternal Mystery side was very misleading. I think the download got taken down now too

I have removed the following links from the original post:
...due to links being broken or expired.
...is showing as under construction and will be back "soon". Does anyone know how long this site has been this way? I'll leave it up for now, but if someone can confirm its been this way a while, I'd rather remove it and add it when its back, than reference a link to "not a working store".

Someone private messaged me the new Roxx Records link. I've added that to the trusted stores list.

I just discovered the "White Metal Shop." I feel like they're the Rick ta Life of the Christian metal scene. Rick ta Life is the former singer of 25 ta Life who became legendary in the New York Hardcore scene for selling bootlegged merch. It's almost a requirement for trve cvlt NYHC fans to have something he made.

I don't know of their ripoff personally, but I absolutely trust the person that told me about their experience. (and that was back late November 2017 when I got told.)

Their merch looks super sketch, especially the obviously homemade Megadeth stuff.

I can confirm that White Metal Shop is (still) a rip-off. I ordered a patch from him in January. It was out of stock, so instead of contacting me or even canceling and refunding my order, he just sent me other items that I didn't order. I contacted him to ask for a refund since he didn't actually provide the item that I paid for and he got belligerent. When I contacted PayPal he lied to them and told them that he did send the item I ordered and that I was trying to fool him. Thankfully, I documented the invoice, took pictures of the package, and took screenshots of all of our conversations. PayPal was easily able to see that he was a fraud and refunded me my money.

I can confirm that White Metal Shop is (still) a rip-off. It's a shame, because they're all over Christian metal Facebook. I think the people involved with them are involved with a large Christian metal ministry in Europe. Also, one of the people involved tried to gatekeep me on Facebook, lol. I'm pretty lenient on people being jerks on the internet, but I'm not a fan of Christians having sketchy business practices and ripping people off. I will not be interacting with their Facebook group in the future. Same thing with the guy from Hortor. I don't want to take away from any good that Hortor's done for people, but I don't feel cool supporting a band where one of the members is selling bootlegged merch for other bands (and if he's stopped doing that, then I'll be cool with supporting them). Unfortunately, Christian rock and metal, like any fringey Christian thing, tend to attract a lot of grifters, scam artists, and people on a spiritual power trip. Fortunately, there are some good guys out there. Never had any problem or seen issues with Vision of God, Rottweiler, Sanctuary International, and lots of other labels and ministries.

It's sad that the number of christian labels and distros has diminished. Sure, i haven't been super engaged in the scene recently, but I keep checking in to see what's new wish there could be another influx in christian metal.

It's sad that the number of christian labels and distros has diminished. I think its diminished some in the secular scene too, not counting the "quarantine videos" some bands are doing. -_-

Note: I ordered a patch from EndTimes productions several weeks ago and asked for an update last week. No word. No patch. Pretty sure this is a Covid thing, but will keep everyone posted in case it isn't.

I bought a vinyl at the end of December off of their bandcamp and never received a shipping confirmation. He finally replied to my e-mails about it after almost a month and then the vinyl arrived a few days later (around a month after I ordered it). It turns out it shipped from Greece (he outsources his shipping). At the end of January I also ordered a Crimson Moonlight patch from him and I don't think he even shipped it for over a month. After I pestered him repeatedly he finally got me some tracking information. It arrived in late March after about two months. You will most likely get your item, but it will take a very long time and you will have to pester him to get a response.

I think its diminished some in the secular scene too, not counting the "quarantine videos" some bands are doing. -_- I noticed that too. My two go-tos in my secular days were The End Records Omega Order and Redstream. The End shut down a long time ago (very unfortunate since they had great prices and selection) and Redstream's website has been down for a long time. They had so much obscure stuff for very cheap. He's still operating on discogs, but it seems quite diminished. I would guess that CD sales probably dropped off quite a bit over the last 10 years or more and there's just not as much business. The vinyl resurgence probably helps a lot, but businesses that were booming from CD sales through the early 2000s probably folded or had to adjust to a more profitable model.

I just got two CDs in the mail from Azmaveth (Hortor) that I bought from him on Discogs awhile back. He was a little slow to ship, but everything got here in good condition. I don't know anything about the T-shirts or other people's experiences, but I just wanted to relate that I had a positive transaction with them.

Discogs is like Ebay. There isn't really any room for scamming, unless you send money outside of their official methods. It does seem like an encouraging sign that ExhortMetal (now EM, I guess?) is running through Discogs instead of other sites. Hopefully things keep going in this direction!

Yeah, that's the main reason I took the risk. I had PayPal purchase protection. The only thing that would have been hurt if things went wrong would be my feelings lol. Still, I'm glad he came through (only place I could find their first album) and I also hope it's a positive sign going forward.
