Everyone,
I've created the "Spirit of Anonymity" forum, part of the All Other Things category. The current settings are that only members (us) and staff can: - create polls - reply to threads - create threads - access this forum - even view this forum
This forum is for anyone who wants to discuss, in private, with only other members concerns, prayer requests and other private matters without the rest of the internet spying in.
It is currently password protected. To get this password, please private message me for it. Currently, I'll only provide the password to users who have had 10 posts or more. (I think that's most if not all of us, at least right now)
My apologies, guest accounts will be excluded from this board. Please register if you would like to take advantage of this forum.
Please ask questions or post any suggestions below.
Thank you,

Nice Thomas! I actually thought not long ago that such a section would be a nice thing.

A bit of an update for the Spirit of Anonymity "private" section of the forum. - Removed password requirement. - Added "group permissions" in the member structure admin section. This is where you must be added, by the admin (that's me), to the group to access/post/reply to the Spirit of Anonymity room. - changed viewing properties I. ANYONE can see that there IS a Spirit of Anonymity forum. (it used to be only members can see it) - changed viewing properties II. Only those with access to the Spirit of Anonymity can see the SUBJECT of the most recent thread. Guests and members not in the group, don't see thread subjects or member names. Passwords can be shared by anyone with anyone. This group access can't... unless I'm possessed and/or have multiple personalities develop, then we're all screwed. There's currently 15 accounts that have access to the Spirit of Anonymity. If I'm a ding dong and forgot to add someone back into the group, who had the password before, please PM me. In addendum (and for clarification) I know I originally said this regarding gaining access to that forum: Currently, I'll only provide the password to users who have had 10 posts or more. ...but I must admit that was a rather hoaky way of getting everyone interested in that room to post more. No member here has ever been given access JUST because they made 10 posts. Its NOT that I trust SoA people, and don't trust the other members... Its nothing like that. The Spirit of Anonymity has the most personal of threads between us - and yes, there's a lot of threads there. One such example, is the thread containing member phone numbers. The people given access have shown a "need" for a room like this. (either by their request or staff observation) ...and of course, they're all "established regulars". This forum is for anyone who wants to discuss, in private, with only other members concerns, prayer requests and other private matters without the rest of the internet spying in. This part is still very true. Any questions?

Wow that's pretty cool! Thanks for the update, yeah after the situation that was discussed yesterday, I see the need for higher regulations. But thank you for that folder. As you can probably tell, I've needed it.

Can't say my curiosity about that forum hasn't been piqued, haha.

Well I'm down with Michael being in folder. I've almost copy pasted most of what I wrote in there in Facebook messages to Michael. If it's something he wants I'll vouch for him.
