I’m finally starting a music project and have LOTS TO LEARN while developing this. Posted on Youtube a rough cut and there’ll be more polishing and instruments to mix in...God willing! And thanks so far to Mike Mosher and Nattesorg for the technical advice I tend to lean on them for, whenever I get stumped over something. 🤓
I’m a bit better developed with album cover art and do my own logo design, which helps 😄
Here’s the video:
Speaking of logos, decided on the name SESTAMIBI. It’s kind of a complicated name, really, because (have a seat, this will take a couple minutes) it is short for a medical nuclear imaging coordination compound called “technetium 99m sestaMIBI”, which means a central atom of radioactive technetium 99m (for “metastable”) surrounded by six (“sesta”) molecules of 2-Methoxy IsoButyl Isonitrile. But why this particular chemical?
Because it is used when the heart is “stress tested”, to see what portions of the heart muscle aren’t getting enough oxygen.
Testing the heart.
Finding the hidden things of the heart, revealing secrets.
Reminds me of Revelation 2:23 “...and all the churches shall know that I am He who searches the minds and hearts. And I will give to each one of you according to your works.”
Pretty complicated. Pretty serious!

Sounds good! But... in the future you might want to mix these songs a little louder. I had to turn my volume up a lot to hear this. Still though, I'm really digging the composition itself! Dark ambient with a bit of electronic stuff.
The origins of the project name are really interesting, too!
