I just figured out how to send you a PM on here now.
BTW, I believe I might know who you are. You're the legendary Benjamin Kosanke! Amirite?

Hey, guys. 👋 I just started my own Christian noise project yesterday. As of now, I'm starting out with the following noise genres/subgenres: noise, harsh noise, field recordings, and drone. My new noise project, The Calling of God, is linked below. Check it out if you have the time, and let me know what you think! soundcloud.com/brandon-graves-600434361

Personally I like the "harsher" songs better "The Harshness of Life" and "If God Is with Us". The other ones don't have as much of an impact, to me, but I'd be curious to see if you do more of those "not quite as harsh" songs, and see how they develop, as you get more experience doing music. Overall though, this is a GREAT first step as far as I'm concerned Keep it up!!

Well, field recordings is not as harsh as harsh noise, and field recordings is just that — sounds and noises recorded in the natural outside world, be it the wind, a river, and so on. That is exactly why they're softer. 😉 I just recorded a noise track around 10 minutes ago, if you'd like to check it out. It's only about 16 seconds, though. 😂 And, hey, I'm just getting started! Again, thank you for taking the time to look, and I'll be sure to try to come up with more ideas. If you'd like, you can also look up my project's Facebook page. 🙏✝️

Hey, there! I just recorded a new track for The Calling of God, "Scratching the Surface." This track is a demonstration of my own "attempt" at experimenting by making the overall sound of this track more like lowercase music (see Steve Roden). Don't know, but I hope you enjoy it. 👍😂 The crackling, clicking, and scratching sounds were performed on a computer system. Here is the track below: soundcloud.com/brandon-graves-600434361/scratching-the-surface

Here is yet another new track, "The Cleansing of Sin": soundcloud.com/brandon-graves-600434361/the-cleansing-of-sinOverall, this track is more noise, I'd say; all I did was just record on top of my washing machine and dryer (the dryer is a bit more noisy). 😂 But, I would like to know what noise subgenre(s) would this track, and my project overall, do you think would fit in the most. What do you think? Please, let me know on this! 😁

Yes, I'd imagine that minimalist noise is a genre.

Not quite as much bass, but Frostnoise's "Noisethrone" is wonderful "warm" noise. Part I, Part II.

thank you nocturnaliridescence and vomitfromnoise777, both of your suggestions fit well. NI, do you happen to know off the top of your head which bandcamp link is currently associated with that Frostnoise album? No need to go a-lookin', but I figured I'd ask

I think The Harshness of Life track sets you up to do HNW soon. It's not there yet but with more equipment, you'll have a really good tone.

New track recorded, and I did some more field recordings (this time with city traffic) on this one! The title of this track, "Which Road Do You Choose To Take?," represents our free will of making our choice to take either the road of the holy and righteous (Heaven) or the road of the unholy and wicked (Hell). Here it is below: soundcloud.com/brandon-graves-600434361/which-road-do-you-choose-to

Am I hearing some quiet vocals in this, or is that just background noise? At any rate I like it!

Just background noise. 😅 And, thank you! Kenneth Holsen and I have both had similar things happen in our music before -- where distorted background noise will occasionally take on a sound that resembles human voices. Strange. I wonder what causes it.

I already know Frostnoise, but what is your noise project, if you don't mind me asking? I've done noise under various names, including non-"noise" projects, lolol. A few are - Look Above You at the Sky 1, 2- Reawaken the Congregation 1, 2- Sword of His Mouth 1For an example of the "vocals" thing, check out track 4 in that second "Reawaken ..." link

Wow... I've actually listened to Look Above You at the Sky and Sword of His Mouth before (and like both!), and I had no idea that these were actually your projects. How cool!
Haven't heard of Reawaken the Congregation yet, however. Will have to check it out.
Please, keep up your great work for our Lord Almighty! ☝️🙏✝️

Reawaken the Congregation is actually a project from 2013, before I was even "born again". The first single was "Christian" as far as my intent, but I still had a lot of misconceptions that God needed to clear up before I was ready to fully dedicate my life to Him and leave everything else behind. (That happened in the latter half of 2014.) In 2015 I started the project back up and those are the EPs I sent you. I later changed the name to Bozkath but only did a really short electronic thing under that name before it took a much more metal-oriented direction. Incidentally, how do you feel about raw black / blacknoise / styles like that? Because depending how things play out, I might have a little surprise in the near future.

First off, I haven't really got into raw black/blacknoise at all. Any examples of that noise style?
And, that's good to know about Reawaken the Congregation/Bozkath and its origin.
