I'm in on including Hortor and the side projects too. They're Christian black metal, even if they aren't shipping orders...

Hortor is what drew my attention yes, as they are the most prominent CBM act in Mexico.
Though I was talking about projects where people have "left the faith" too. Wasn't sure if any of those were omitted either.
It doesn't matter to me I was just giving my opinion and wanting to make sure I understood the purpose of the list so I could continue to offer appropriate suggestions.

Maybe I am too forgiving or maybe I would sing a different tune if it was my money in question.
I just worry, what if someone in Hortor died, had a family emergency, mental health episode, lost home or internet access... I don't know... I'd definitely still list Hortor if it's supposed to be a comprehensive list.

I think it all depends on what kind of list this is as to what I would include. If its a list of what's currently available, we should leave out the uber rare, out of print and extinct, not sure if it exists or not, only available through X and X doesn't send orders, etc. If its a universal list (which is what I was under the impression, that's what this was) then we should include everything regardless of what someone is doing now, what someone has done before, what releases are available, etc. In my opinion, even if this wasn't a universal list, it doesn't make sense to exclude Hortor (or any Christian black metal group) if they (and their label) are not sending out merchandise because... Hortor music IS available through other vendors. www.ebay.com/sch/items/?_nkw=Hortor&_sacat=&_ex_kw=&_mPrRngCbx=1&_udlo=&_udhi=&_sop=&_fpos=&_fspt=1&_sadis=&LH_CAds=&satitle=Hortor&rmvSB=truewww.amazon.com/gp/search?ie=UTF8&keywords=Hortor&tag=encymetatheme-20&index=music&linkCode=ur2&camp=1789&creative=9325Also NI, if you find yourself backlogged with entries, feel free to recruit myself or the mods to help. I can edit anyone's post *insert evil laugh* and unless I screwed up the admin permissions, so can the mods.

Yeah, I can edit. I might add to the list on my own from time to time.
And if this was a list of only what's available, then all those really obscure bands that NI added don't belong, so I think this should be a universal list.

Yeah, I intended for this to include all "Christian black metal" bands, not just ones whose music is still available.
I'll go back and add the bands I'd originally omitted. After I make that edit (shouldn't take more than a few minutes), the mods/admins here have my permission to edit the original post.
Edit: Done.

I might be wrong on some of these, but I'm sure others will help me out.
Germany: Far Beyond? (Christian in a band?), Spätregen Netherlands: Dormant Norway: Flukt Poland: Boanerges South Korea: Malakh Ukraine: Oskord, Neizbezhnost', Coram Deo UK: Cryptic Embrace USA: Old Man Frost, Lo-Ruhamah (if you ignore their protestations to the contrary, which I do), Maurgrim (early), Willow Mount, Wrathful Plague? (Christian in a band?), Cabalistic, Dark Endless, Dark Procession?, Erlösung
International: Northern Ash (US/Panama), Sorrowstorm (US/Panama),

Was Élan a Christian project? Added.
I added the other ones. (Edit: Wait, only the ones in your 2nd post. I didn't see there was another one before it) I added most of them. Not the ones you and I weren't sure about (Far Beyond, Lo-Ruhamah, Maugrim, Wrathful Plague, Dark Procession) Can anyone confirm these?

Elan was a Christian project. I can confirm that. I wish he had the Internet up there in Connecticvlt.

NI, I can't confirm any of those, but I can confirm that Wrathful Plagues is currently not a Christian band (they might have been in the past, but they certainly aren't right now). I can also confirm that Maugrim is not a Christian band (I think the project began as Christian-inspired ambient or something like that, but once they started playing black metal, any themes of Christianity were gone as far as I am aware). Dark Procession is also not a Christian band, though it is likely that at least one of the members was a Christian at some point in the past.

Far Beyond is a German one man project. He is a Christian and the lyrics are not offensive but technically it is not a "Christian music" project.
Lo-Ruhamah is considered Christian music as far as I know.
Dark Procession was at one time considered Christian music but I believe that changed. Not sure how you want to list those. Maybe with an asterisk and at the bottom of the list define it as "Not all projects contain Christian lyrics" or something?
And it would appear Exhort Metal is also selling bootleg t-shirts so if it is truly run by the dude from Hortor then it is sad indeed. I wonder if it's a cultural thing? Maybe Mexico doesn't give a shit about t-shirt copyright? I don't know, but I concede that something needs to be done about it.

Greed doesn't know a specific culture.
You know, if someone made a bootleg shirt for themselves to wear, who cares... ...but SELLING something that belongs to someone else is crooked as hell.

Even though I don't know a thing about specific Mexican laws, I'm pretty sure that it's not that different from common perspectives in North Amercia or Europe and so on. Nevertheless I'm kind of 'amazed' that he's probably offering/presenting a bunch of bootleg-shirts openly without a care in the whole wide world. Like "yeah, these are bootlegs - want one?"

I added the bands from "Bands that are really really underground" for which we could find info. I also added Morbus Mundi because ....... he's a Christian now!

Too bad there aren't any from Hungary! I was just there and thought it'd be fun to find some Christian black metal... I'm in Slovakia now and hope to find Pilgrimage's stuff at this rad little record store that specializes in heavy metal.

I didn't add Flukt (or any of the other projects) because I thought they weren't "Christian" bands. Like I know the band members are Christians. But I thought the music itself was just "black metal" (like Thomas' project Ankou Awaits)
But if I'm wrong on that, please let me know!

They might not be preaching, but at least I label their lyrics "safe". Unblack or not. (I dont like the unblack therm)

Added Henoticon now.
Also another band called F 6:17. I don't know if they could really be categorized as "black metal" but they definitely have black metal influences.
About Henoticon, I did a quick Google search and they supposedly released an EP in 2010 with this tracklist:
1 - Henoticon 2 - Heaven Holocaust 3 - Dream 4 - The Passion of Christ 5 - The ancient fear 6 - Our God alive
