You may add: Canada: Alstadt. I added it to the "unknown" section, since the artist wants to stay anonymous. Even though we already know who it is. It's complicated.

- Updated Ascendant with their previous band name, Amorém. And no, your computer isn't acting up, those are really the thumbnails for the songs, just click on them - they're not bad at all! - Added Verwustung, apparently from Russia, despite being a German word. I can find nothing about this supposed band, other than the name being mentioned in a list of other CBM bands. I should note, I guess, that the name is spelled Verwustung in the list, while the word itself has an umlaut: Verwüstung. Edit: This isn't actually a Christian band.

I had found Verwüstung in that List some years ago. They had a selftitled 6-Song-EP out there that I have downloaded. Unfortunately, I also don'T have any further Information despite them being from Russia...

1) Added Crown of Fire from Columbia. This isn't the band I mentioned in "general new releases/updates", this is an old band from 2009. Not sure if they're still active or not. 2) Removed Verwustung because it seems there was a miscommunication somewhere - it's not a Christian project. 3) Moved Alstadt to Canada, since MA has the project listed in Canada now. 4) Added "(as of 2008)" to Animae Capronii, since his first Christian album was in late 2008. 5) Since I have a tendency to accidentally click the "like" button instead of the "edit" button when I want to edit the original post, I just decided to leave the original post "liked" and hope people don't think I'm being conceited by liking my own posts.

Added Apolitrosis to "Unknown". They are / were from somewhere in South America. Thanks to drawnsword for the info! On more than one occasion, he has provided info for me on virtually unknown bands -- in fact, often providing more info than I even asked for. It's DEFINITELY appreciated, man. Btw Drawnsword is also the guy who drew Apolitrosis' logo.

Added Offertorium from Brazil, along with a "not to be confused" note, since there's more than one Brazilian black metal band with that name (one Christian, one secular).

Added Synkretismos Mutare from our newest member borndead. Seems like a predominantly ambient/noise project, but also does metal.

Added Holy Throne form Brazil. This is all the information I have right now: They played symphonic black, appeared on a 2002 compilation, and were "... a project with musicians of some Christian bands who adopted nicknames and their identity won't be revealed." [1] So it seems they played in other bands, but didn't want to say who they were or which bands they played in. Reminds me of Unblack Star, another Brazilian band that wanted to stay anonymous. The compilation was called "Metal Mission - Brazilian Compilation 2" and the track they contributed was called "The dark fall of daemoniacus domain". [2]Their track is described as follows: "Holy Throne continues on with more black metal and has an even faster sound. It's brutal but hasn't enough harmony for me to enjoy it. The tune could also have been much better mixed than it is. Vocals could also be better." [3]

Added Azar. One of the promotional videos on YouTube says "(C) 2017, Italy" so although it seems the videos were uploaded by somebody else, I'm assuming the project itself is from Italy.

According to info Sabactâni added to Metal Archives, the project started as "Atualment" in 2010, so I've added a note next to Sabactâni's name now.
Oh, and I was correct in my last post, Azar is from Italy.

If anyone is interested in Order of Splendour -tape, there is still one awailable on Discogs! I picked a copy even though I havent heard the band as it was quite cheap and as I tend to have an interest on obscure stuff of this sort.

Added Alabanzas Tecorpusta from Honduras. Symphonic/atmospheric instrumental stuff. Sounds promising!! Also added Anti Katholisch a few minutes ago. Despite the person seeming to only speak German and a bit of English, they're actually from Mexico. They're going to be emailing me some of their music soon, which I'll be uploading to YouTube, with their permission. I have no idea yet what it sounds like, but they describe it as "Dark ambient / Intense Unblack Metal [for the glory of God]", which is definitely my cup of tea. EDIT: I listened to the music. Add a "raw" to those genre tags. DEFINITELY. This music is definitely intense -- but in a way that's difficult to explain.

Added Paleas Comburet Igni Inextinguibili from the Netherlands. I've been talking a bit to the owner of the [secular] label that signed them, and he has confirmed that PCII is a Christian project. As for music, I will hopefully have a link here tomorrow. Edit: Here it is

Nope, no social media. Long story short, they actually have very little "technology" in their lives. Apparently they don't even own computers. Making music is about as "technological" as they get.

Wow, kinda "exotic" nowadays! The tape seems pretty hard to get. I mailed the label with no response this far and I read from their Facebook that the owner is going abroad for over a month so the order will at least delay. Better late then never I suppose, but it kinda sucks that I did not find the tape in any other place, the one selling it on DIscogs was also the guy from the label.

nocturnaliridescence, as you seem to be the king of digging out obscure bands; do you happen to own anything by The Crowned Virgin? I saw their split release with the band Mountain Goat on Discogs but the only copy for sale was shipping from US, so it is not an instant pick for me, due to postages. I'm jjust wondering if they are any good.

They have songs on Myspace here, and there's a song on YouTube here. As for the split, I don't have it either, but two of the songs on Myspace are from there, so that should give you an idea. Oh, and if you're curious about the other (secular?) band on the split, they have their half of the split on Bandcamp.
