So many ideas in the head. So much will to do stuff. So many half/¾ finished tracks floating around everywhere on my hard disk. So less accomplished. It is a pity really. There is even an EP worthy amount of material almost finished. Recorded mainly in 2012/2013 right after the release of Woodland Horizons. I recorded some acoustic guitars past months to add to these tracks. Just drums and vocals and it should be finished. But then again. I have another 5 song EP in the works which may be cool to release together as some sort of compilation of the years 2012 - 2016. I am sorry but I can't promise you anything guys. I wished to have released an EP 2 years ago already. That is the reason why I never give updates because I don't want to make people 'happy' with nothing really. For the same account nothing gets released ever. I guess you understand.
But thank you guys! It is really nice to get these compliments, gave me a smile in my heart (so to speak)! May sound odd, but all thanks to God though, from my part!
I'm impressed. This is really good. I'd like to hear more honestly. By the way I own a copy of Woodland Horizons too, and I can confirm without a doubt that's one of my favourite cbm releases of all time. Period. Blessings.
eskhata, it is up for free download if you didn't see it! Glad you enjoy it! I hope it inspires you somehow.
I think I will take up the vocal duties. After all, I write all lyrics so it would be most natural if I do it myself. Not entirely sure yet. On Woodland Horizons half of the lyrics were written by me and the other half was written by Armath!
Cool! I thought Armath's deeper vocals fit very well with the atmosphere of WH and liked how it was a bit unique in that way. I don't think I've heard your vocals but am greatly looking forward to hearing more from TTT!
Glad you like the way Armath did the vocals! My vocals will turn out different. I did some try outs on demo recordings but was not completely satisfied with that particular sound. Just not sure if that what I have in mind will work out on the atmosphere. But I'll figure something . I can spoil something. They will at least be a bit higher pitched.

Dang, it's been mighty quiet around here... There must just not be much good coming out right now! Not "Christian" but I am really looking forward to the new Far Beyond and I'm very stoked for Departe's debut.
I wonder how WarHorse is coming along? I think I'll check their FB page now...

Hey guys, I am starting another account since Angdae Durelen got deleted somehow. here's my current (not necessarily christian but with super secret christian hidden messages) black metal band. We're called Wanton Lust and will be doing shows in California soon!
progton777: Last year Righteoss Wrath posted a song on his facebook page, i am addicted to that song, and even the quality of the production is not that good its kind of a haunting song, with some furious melodic riffs.

julienbakerfan: @bartimaeus not really; the other person onvolved deletes their comment amd rehashing it wouldn't be good for me

julienbakerfan: Typos because phone broken

nocturnaliridescence: I wonder what black metal with just bass and no normal guitars would sound like. I know I have other obligations, but then I just get these sporadic ideas in my head.

Bartimaeus: Isn't that sort of what death therapy does, but with death metal? I'd be interested to *hear* how it sounds.

nocturnaliridescence: It turns out that yeah, there are a few projects that do this already. Didn't know there was a Christian one! The ideas I had sounded different though, a bit more "minimalistic". We'll see if the ideas end up sucking or not!

julienbakerfan: nocturnaliridescence I've seen quite a few of these projects on Bandcamp, but I always skipped past them because I didn't like the concept. I think there's a dinosaur-themed one that I can't remember off the top of my head. It may be death/doom.

nocturnaliridescence: Are you thinking of Thecodontion? (Secular band.) According to MA their lyrical themes are "Prehistory, Fossils, Paleontology"
Jul 8, 2020 10:59:25 GMT -6
julienbakerfan: I think I am thinking of Thecodontion, but I couldn't remember how it was spelled.

thevociferator: just got back from a christian metalcore show that was a part of Exodo Fest and I got to say I was a bit disappointed with the crowd. There were like these two older guys in the middle of the pit just taking videos of the show with their phone.

julienbakerfan: Shows are happening? With pits?
Jul 24, 2020 19:53:17 GMT -6
nocturnaliridescence: Yeah I thought Exodo Fest was all digital/livestreaming this year

avjr: I know concerts are happening in other states in America. There are no concerts in California. Sadly.
Jul 26, 2020 21:39:28 GMT -6
julienbakerfan: Concerts are happening in Arkansas, but I'm not going. I live in a hotspot at the moment.
Jul 27, 2020 20:17:26 GMT -6
nocturnaliridescence: It's going to be awkward if I ever reach a point where I do concerts. I have never been to a concert. I don't normally watch concert footage. I have very little idea what the "concert experience" is like.
