I did look but I'm still not sure if this thread exists somewhere else. We praise God in many other posts, but I thought a thread would be nice. It also totally makes sense to me to simply put this post in the Prayer Request Thread instead.
One awesome thing happened last night. I struggle with pornography, and in my weakness I was going to fall through use of my iPhone. The phone was at 16% charge and then it just immediately ran out of battery (and I left the charger at work). It was a way out of falling to sin and gave me the break I needed to realign my mind with Christ. Hallelujah.

Praise God! How great to serve our God who loves us so much that He would tenaciously continue to protect us from our sinful selves. He is good.
As things with our landlord still remain tense and unpleasant, God has provided us a new place to live with Christian landlords who come highly recommended from multiple people. Our lease is signed and we move in March 1st. While things were digressing at our current location, it became apparent we needed to move. But in Santa Cruz, CA it is really, really difficult to find housing available - let alone from dependable, trustworthy, and caring landlords. We began praying and God opened up this opportunity for us almost immediately. The timing worked out perfectly [we were able to give our current landlord the appropriate one-month's notice) and our new landlords were even willing to work with us on price. We are so grateful.

Got offered an exclusive position where I work. Regular hours (8am to 5pm), hour lunches (so I can go to the gym), don't get sent home early (cause this work won't run out during the day), almost a $2 per hour raise. I was just thinking about doing something different down the road for more money - now, I don't even have to worry about it!
Praise God!!!!!!!

That's great news, hallelujah God is good and He can give favor in just the right time!
I've gotten a lot of debt paid off this tax refund season, and being debt free actually seems possible! I'm so thankful God has put it on my heart to get out of debt and given me the wisdom and drive to accomplish it.

Nice bro! Debt free is the way to be. I just put new siding on my house last year, so my wife and I will be paying that off for the next 3, but I don't have a mortgage or rent... so its sort of like paying that again. HAHA!!

This weekend was pretty encouraging. For one, we got a letter in the mail from the US government saying “congratulations” and “welcome to America” along with Veronika’s green card! That’s a big answer to prayers right there. It’s been a long journey and it’ll never be fully “over” since we need to renew it in two years (and then every 10 years after that) but that’s just paperwork. This was a huge milestone and worthy of celebration.
Second, and this is more minor but so specific that IMO it’s pretty clearly obviously God saying, “I’m taking care of you.” Backstory: our apartment is not legally constructed in that the bedroom only has a door and no [functioning] windows, i.e. only one ingress/egress for us in case of fire but more relevantly, also for air. (There’s something in the bedroom air that I am allergic to which is quite frustrating.) For anyone who knows anything about fluidics or just common sense, you can’t get proper air flow if you only have one inlet/outlet. That’s why they have those little holes in the lids of coffee cups: so as the coffee flows out, the air can flow in which prevents there being a vacuum. Anyways, we devised a plan that would require two good powered fans and some clever custom cardboard box air ducting so we could put both fans at the door: one facing in and one facing out. If we direct the air flow with the cardboard, we can attempt to get some fresh air to get in there. Friday evening, we were literally about to click the “buy” button on two fans online, but decided to just go Saturday to Sears and get them. Saturday we went to a recently deceased family friend’s house to get some free furniture of hers that my aunt and uncle were giving away (which fit PERFECTLY; literally if the night stands were one half inch wider and it wouldn’t have fit in our little place). In the garage was a bunch of stuff they were also just getting rid of and I saw a box with a nice fan in it! Score! Now we only had to buy one. But wait, lo and behold there was ANOTHER identical fan. We took both and they work great! Once we make some cardboard ducting (or maybe with bedsheets?), these fans will work perfectly and hopefully air out our place properly.
Sorry for the long-winded explanation of something quite simple haha.

My mom, who until this point has had zero interest in going to a church, has been accompanying me as I visit a new church each Sunday ... I praise God for this unexpected opportunity for her to hear the gospel and for me to share my faith.

You guys cannot BEGIN to FATHOM what a huge burden has been lifted off my shoulders and mind now that I finally started that "archives" blog I've been thinking about starting. All of the information is in ONE PLACE now. Thanks and glory to God for inspiring and motivating me to do this. God truly looks out for us, yes, even if His work may be accomplished in a longer time frame than we would often like. God knows what's best.

Thank God He saved me from watching porn last night. ... Now to get through a long day with little sleep... Same here, my brother in Christ. I relapse last week, and I am going to be 10 days free. I thank God too. I struggle with it for almost 8 years along with masturbation, but the Holy Spirit is working within me one day at a time. Keep me in your prayers. ^-^

Thank you for your prayers. My friend (who was trying to support her student who was raped) felt better yesterday and was able to get the work done she needed to get done, despite the emotional turmoil. Also I had asked for your prayers last week Thursday when I was in emotional turmoil and needing to submit an important application by midnight. Thank you for praying and praise God: I was accepted for that scholarship, which will financially allow me to do research in Haiti this summer. As I mentioned in the thread about my April service trip to Haiti, I love Haiti and am quite interested in building my career (Lord willing, etc.) there. The scholarship will be very helpful in this regard.

Last update as of ~12 hours Agile was that my friend came theubthe transplant itself so well that they had already “closed” the site, which only happens in ~20% or so of surgeries, due to swelling and such. They were going to attempt extinction last night, but I have not had another update yet.
Merely the fact that they actually closed the surgical site is just HUGE news. We know people who have had heart transplants that had their wound sites still open and merely “packed”....
HUGE praises and thanks to the Creator for this second chance for my friend...

My grandmother's home from the hospital. Overall the situation wasn't nearly as bad as we thought it was. There were several setbacks, but God got us through it. Her, physically, and the rest of us, mentally. This has been absolutely exhausting for all of us.

Not only that, but also correcting of who I am, becoming a better person, and He is the Only One who is faithful. I am twice your age, but it's taken me almost that long to learn and understand what you know at 25. If I knew then what I know now... Peace and blessings on your birthday and may your knowledge and understanding of the Holy Trinity never stop growing!
