Not sure if this would work. I've definitely thought "hey, I should ask this forum this thing I just wondered" but I didn't want to create a thread about it. I'm not sure. I'm totally cool if this thread doesn't work out well -- we can delete it (I imagine).

I tend to just use "Obligatory Random Thoughts" for that, but a thread specifically for questions could be useful.

I've been asking people what they think the message is of a newly acquired hoodie. The responses have been pretty diverse; common threads are general dislike and confusion ha. What would be the message you come away with? Front Back

I would think someone wearing that would have a rather weathered appearance, party's hard, and is proud of it.

Here's a random question. Why do people name craters? Many craters on the earth, mars and moon are named. Why name a hole made by a meteor?

Here's a random question. Why do people name craters? Wonderfully random, my friend. I don't know. I'm thinking somebody wants to be able to proudly say "Hey, I named that crater over there, in case you were wondering." Also, is there any ... summer metal?!

Also, is there any ... summer metal?! Sure - there's that one album by Deafheaven.

Also, is there any ... summer metal?! Nargaroth covered every season in their Jahreszeiten album. Here's summer. LOL Man, I listen to this, I think really hot sun, melted ice cream, fans everywhere - while wearing a black cape and posing. Epic. Here's a random question. Why do people name craters? Many craters on the earth, mars and moon are named. Why name a hole made by a meteor? Ok, I get craters on earth for the sake of landmarks. I mean, mountains and bodies of water are named... but CRATERS on the moon and mars? I think I will reject all said names. If anyone asks me, its "hole" and "another hole" on the moon and Mars.

Also, is there any ... summer metal?! Woods Of Ypres' first full-length is (and it's a very good album).

I still welcome any additional thoughts on my April 1st post about the "beautiful on the outside" message.
Do you ever look up and read the lyrics to a song as you listen to it even though you already know the lyrics? Sometimes I find myself doing that.

I've been asking people what they think the message is of a newly acquired hoodie. That on the outside, one appears fine, but inside, they face a lot of pain/struggles.

Do you look people in the eye when you pass them on the sidewalk?

Depends on my environment. If I'm in a busy area, no. If there aren't many people walking around, maybe. In the latter situation, it tends to be pretty awkward. I'm not very outgoing so I would rarely greet a random stranger unless they did so first, but I'm not too shy to make eye contact.

That on the outside, one appears fine, but inside, they face a lot of pain/struggles. Dude, that's what I thought and, to be honest, what I thought the message clearly was. Out of about twenty people I asked, like two people said that (you included). Any ideas why TBL doesn't stay put on my Chrome Bookmark Bar? It's zero percent of a big deal, but it always seems to hop off the bar, which seems weird.

How important is another's apology or lack thereof in overcoming bitterness towards that person? I want to stop harboring bitterness towards a number of people in my life but they haven't apologized for their harm. These would be the people I'd talk to on a daily/weekly basis... it blows my mind that they haven't apologized.

I don't talk to any of them anymore, but I still harbor some bitterness over things that happened years ago...

If not, they might not be apologizing because they assumed you forgot about it or had moved on or something. It'd probably be worth trying to talk it out. If you have tried talking about it and they still haven't apologized, try to look at it the way I look at the people who hurt me in the past: the fact that they haven't apologized is a sign that there is something very wrong with their moral view, and thus most likely, something wrong at their very core [spirit/soul]. Pray for them, and for your own peace of mind, that God would work in those people and prompt them to seek proper reconciliation, as per His teachings.

I don't talk to any of them anymore, but I still harbor some bitterness over things that happened years ago... Bitterness/resentment only consumes the vessel that contains it. Literally, it's allowing them to take more from you than they already have. A resentment works much like drinking poison and expecting the other person to get sick. As far as whether or not someone else is sorry, to me, that's irrelevant. I need to let this go (and this being ANYTHING that bothers me, regardless of how stupid it is) or it will eat me alive. I'd like to think I do relatively well against combating common resentments. Sometimes I bury them, and then they unearth themselves again like some morbid zombie. (I actually had this yesterday. One of the other Ire Discord mods posted pics of him in the hospital because one of his friends there. That almost immediately brought me back to when I had my surgeries last year, and most people in my family and wife's family were there when I woke up - except my brother. It still feels like a real kick in the pants to think my wife's sister was there for my hospital stays, but my own brother wasn't.... but... I let it go again pretty quick.) Sometimes, I have a hard time letting go of something. (my rants about Adam in the SoA are a prime example) Its the perfect case of "it gets worse before it gets better". Worse doesn't even cut it - I'd call it damn messy. ...but, for ANY problem, there is a solution - in Christ. The hard part is the footwork required so our brains will let go and let God.

Guys, thanks for the awesome responses. My traveling schedule has been a bit hectic and I feel I don't have much opportunity to respond (wifi places are not terribly accessible for me). I totally feel what y'all have said. Thomas, did you ever speak with your brother about the situation?

I think some of y'all have made shirts. Any recommendations on who to go through? I designed a shirt on CustomInk that I like and I'm wondering if you know anything about this website and its legitimacy, etc.

About how many times do you listen through an album you like? Not an album that you love, love, love, but one you buy (if you buy albums) and would say you enjoy ... like 1-3 times, 5-10, 10-20, 20+?

Anyone ever do one of those ancestry DNA tests? No, and I definitely wouldn't recommend it. Check this out for some very creepy information on Ancestry's terms and services. About how many times do you listen through an album you like? Not an album that you love, love, love, but one you buy (if you buy albums) and would say you enjoy ... like 1-3 times, 5-10, 10-20, 20+? This depends on a lot of things. Like when I'm exercising [at home, not at the local gym which is full of roid-raging psychopaths], I'll usually just default to "brutal" albums I already know well like Wintersoul's album, Broken Flesh's 2 newest albums, maybe one of HB's livelier albums, etc. But I break out other music too, like Hating Evil's EP, Dying Blaze's album, etc. Or if I'm sick and want to rest, Flock of Crows' "Eternal Doom of the Great Deceiver" is always a good album. If I just feel like listening to an album for enjoyment, I listen to Nephesh, Nocturnal Freeze, Requiem Eternam, etc etc.
