...and leave an extreme metal music collection that will get thrown out with the trash because people don't know what to do with it???... LOL
I've tried to tell my wife that I have some valuable CD's (nothing major but I do have a few rare releases) and not to throw anything away if I die... check the value and try to sell them etc.
I should leave detailed instructions on how to attempt to price things using eBay/Discogs/etc.
What morbid thoughts. Lol.
Anyone else have contingency plans, or do you guys mostly buy digital?

Whenever I get a "will" written up, I'll have it mentioned that my belongings should be sold, not thrown away. I'm not too concerned about it, unless I would, for some reason, die before I had a will made up.

Haha many of us collectors have had the same thought. I already told my brother that if something happens he uploads all of my unreleased music and updates my pages once that I´m dead lol Also as NI wrote I hope to die after writting a will, I mean it would bother me if they throw it out but I´d rather my family make some bucks out of the stuff, especially my vinyls and instruments.

A large part of my collection is digital. The rest will most likely be Goodwilled, along with my ~1000 books.

I honestly am more worried about what will happen to my computer and sound system. I spent good money on that stuff. I hope someone else will enjoy it after I am gone.
