To be completely honest, I don't really like it. The still image just feels better to me. I can live with having the animation if everyone else likes it, but I'm not a huge fan of it.

I chose "I didn't notice" but that's because I was at work last time I looked at forums and my workplace network doesn't show all of the pictures (forum banner being one of them).
That being said, I do like the animation. Very edgy and stylish.

I totally get that man. I'm thinking there is a way to compromise? Currently, it's set to loop every 7 seconds. If I changed it to every 30 seconds, it would be more of a still image... but a "what just happened?" element if someone happens to be on the banner when it "flickers". (Like someone making a new post would be the only person to really see it - as no one would intentionally wait 30 seconds to see if the logo changed or not.)

I honestly don't think it bothers me enough to even be worth changing it. If the rest of the guys like it, I'm fine with it.
