Lots of metal heads visit the promotional section at The Metal Archives forum. What do you think of me making a thread there about our forum?
My vote is yes - I think we could (possibly) gain some members who make excellent contributions.
I don't know how many people make Christian (black) metal entries on the metal archives, but there must be members that do not utterly hate it if they make/edit contributions. Also, the secular scene has been openly pirating some recent Christian black metal releases. (Skald and Hazeroth new albums)
Apart from how morally wrong piracy is, I can't think of a reason why someone would share something they completely rejected.
The last several posts I've found in the Metal Archives forum even discussing Christian black metal were years ago and there were actually multiple "I avoided Christian lyrics until I heard Xband and they're too good to ignore."
Could it backfire and we'd have garbage to clean up? Possibly. ...but it could grow our little community too.
Thoughts?

I made a post advertising The Blackest Light in the promo section. My scheduled off days from work are today and Friday so... if someone really does come here to raise hell with us, I'll be able to address it closer than working shifts.
I'm hoping that the detractors won't make it past reading the post I made there and that those with a genuine interest will at least stop by to browse. (higher visitor count)

I voted option 3. That's cool that we've got some more traffic! I'm skeptical but hopeful.
