This is sad, However I have known about this really for quite some time. Armath and his massive list of bands will be greatly missed he has been a mainstay in the genre and a good one:
Armath Sargon Light To Dead Katumus Knights Of The New Temple Zero+onE +Majesty+ Anti Venom
And I am sure that there are many more that I have forgotten about or never knew about as well.

I never understood uprooting and doing something else, when still fully capable. The answer I'm sure would be very interesting.
Granted I disappeared for years, but that was because of my addiction. I sold everything twice. Was homeless.... huge mess for years...

Oh, that means no new Knights of the New Temple Album I guess... I think it's sad when the christian metal scene loses such an active member, but I'm sure that it wasn't an easy decision and that he thought and prayed a lot about it. I hope he will find his way

Man, makes me wonder why one would stop creating altogether?
I do still have plenty of his albums to properly digest though.
Blessings Bro!

He is my all time favorite, my introduction into the Christian "underground". I hate to see him go, but am sure God has a plan in store for him that will affect more lives. At least we have three more albums from him that NH plans on releasing. Another Katumus album and another AntiVenom album! His music will be missed.

Man, makes me wonder why one would stop creating altogether? Agreed. My only experience with stopping one's art (whether visual or audio) is because something awful happened. I hope that isn't the case with Armath.

For those of you looking for some Armath stuff, Christian Metal Distro recently got some copies of a re-released album that he originally recorded and gave away in small quantities a while ago. christianmetaldistro.storenvy.com/products/12112284-armath-sargon-war-till-the-end-2015They also hint that this is his third-to-last release. I know that Damnation/Salvation is set to come out sometime this year, but I wonder what the third thing is...

From the Metalhelm newsletter:
Armath Sargon – The End of the Ministry: No, this is not the title of an upcoming album by my friend and unblack metal minister, Armath Sargon, from Finland. The man behind the band has been called by the Lord to refocus his days on other outreach and ministry needs for the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, it is a bittersweet situation to know that there will no longer be more new material from Armath Sargon. But wait… although he will not be making new music, he has four albums that have never been released, all recorded after his epic (and long since sold-out) opus “Under the Moon and the Sun” that we released on Nokernal Hemizphear. Though this news is sad in some ways, it is understood as well. In addition, Nokternal Hemizphear has been given the rights to produce the last Armath Sargon albums “Winter”, “Autumn”, “Damnation/Salvation”, and perhaps some other musical productions in the near future. We at Nokternal Hemizphear have been slowly working on the plans for releasing the above albums for the last year and will continue to do so.

I cannot speak on his behalf but know that he has dedicated much of his time and energy towards creating music over the past years, more so than anyone I know. That being said he may just need to focus that time and energy towards things that God is directing him to do. I'm sure he will always be an active member of our little community and a genuine brother in Christ. His work on the next Antivenom album is amazing and deserves me being a better drummer before being released so his legacy will be a gift that keeps on giving.
