Talk Mot/guild raid to me, man.....what's the deal?

As far as guild raiding itself, I put most of the info on the Ire FAQ. Q: How do I summon the guild boss? (Mot, Lord of the Dead)
A: Mot costs 9,000 guild coins to summon and only the guild master and officers can summon him.
Q: How often can we do the guild raid?
A: Once Mot has been summoned, all players in the guild have 3 hours to play him. Each player is allowed 2 attempts to fight. After the 3 hours has passed, there is a 2 day and 12 hour cooldown until Mot can be summoned again.
Q: What are the guild raid “steps”?
A: There are 3 steps (or modes of difficulty) to Mot, Lord of the Dead. Step 1 being easier, Step 3 being the hardest. The only difference in drops is Step 1 has a chance to drop lesser ambers, Step 2, ambers and Step 3, greater ambers. For personal player achievement, you're better off playing the Step you can beat as you will receive drops.
Q: What are the crown, scythe and claw fragments that Mot drops?
A: When you gather 15 of any one of Mot's fragments, you can forge → composite them into an item. (ie: Mot's Scythe Fragment composites into a Deathly Lance, Cuisses or Boots)
Q: What is contribution?
A: Whenever you fight Mot, you'll receive contribution based on the damage you deal. Even if you perish during the fight, you'll retain said contribution. Contribution in guilds ranks like spite in the Bridge of Despair or faith in Hunt. Members who rank will receive tribute and Deathly Chests. There are contribution limits based on each step. For instance, Step 1 has a maximum contribution of 50,000. If you would want to contribute more towards killing Mot, you would have to play a more difficult step.
Q: I killed Mot. Why is there a HP meter in the Guild Raid screen? A: Mot, Lord of the Dead actually has a TOTAL of 14,500,000 HP. This HP is shared by the efforts of each guild member in the form of “contribution”. It would require 30 guild members to do at least 484,000 damage (contribution) to the boss in the 3 hours while he is summoned, to truly “defeat” him. A task very difficult indeed. 484K individual contribution would only be possible by playing Step 3 Mot.
I've summoned him TWICE so far. Bring your strongest weapon because he doesn't have any apparent resistances - all elements hurt the same. I promised the next summon to Slasher, my other officer. He missed the last 2 summons because of being with his sick kid in the hospital. You're more than welcome to summon the next. The real kick in the pants is figuring out when to summon. Since I've got players from all over the world in the Disgyblaeth guild, we haven't nailed down that 3 hour window yet. So far, I've just notified players in our guild channel on Discord as to when he'll be. I'll try to post here the next summon time, if Slasher gives me enough heads up...

If I got the time differences figured out right, I think Slasher is going to summon Mot at like 7am CST, tomorrow morning.

Yeah. I got 4 open bane gauntlets myself. Already sacrificed them to my surge sword.
Got a preferred time you want to fight Mot?
I think it might be good to space these out a little... I might want to hold onto it for a day or two...

I made a GateKeeper video. I eat more hits than a pro though, so I guess this is a decent guide for someone who isn't a "dodge god" as I S+ clear this in 2m7s with only eating 1 fairie.
I recently swapped a piece of armor for dramatic results. OW Custodian Cuisses for GateKeeper cuisses. Without focusing too much on element resistance SKILLS, this setup has my lowest element resistance ABOVE 20k.
Also, wearing 2 Feronia accessories has made a pretty big difference too.
Poise is really the only skill I can think that would strongly benefit my build, but at 17k poise, there's not much higher to go to reach cap. I'm not out to cap a series of skills, or have all 3 open Feronia accessories/cape, so... I might be hitting a soft wall soon in character growth, at least in terms of growth that I'm willing/want to do...
My entire existence in Ire, I've kept behind the tiers of growth the devs have brought. I just reached all S+MAX by the time transcend, OW and hone were announced. (March 2017) By the time I got close to all +30, the devs made +40. By the time I got close to all +40, the devs made +50. Now, with 2 feronia accessories to help with skills, I'm almost all +50 (again) with my new pants at +49. (I'll most likely hit +50 today if not tomorrow)
If I gave a rats ass about PvP, I might be more inclined to top more skills.... but I don't. ...and less than what I have is more than adequate to smoke 90%+ of in-game content.
Swords aren't good weapons for PvP anyway. Its perfect parry bait for tachis. Dodgers can mash blue to never get hit. Movesets are slow and easy for opponents to predict....

Yep. Slasher did! So did my wife (Kaytlyn), jharmony, Tsalel and KelkSwiftlan. Bones ambers ambers, in that respective order. XD I'm so glad my wife got a 4 open Vidar Mace from the Cheuosk package. She went from DREADING corrupts, where it took 5-6 attempts to get her daily 3, to now just stunlocking the shit out of all of them. She's echoed only a few times, played for just a little bit.... made it to the #20s rank in Hunt. [rofl]

I've been cracking down on some bros in our guild... that haven't been pulling their weight. I've since announced in our Discord channel that there's a tribute requirement to remain in the guild. Don't worry exo. You've got above and beyond what I would ask. (by 10k) 550 tribute a day, or 15950 tribute for the 29 day season. The amount of a max attendance and max pledge. I want to accommodate and accept casual players, but my days of letting players just be a name on a list are OVER. I calculated, and there's about 8 bros that.... I don't even know what they're doing. My wife does little more than login for 3-4 days of the week, and even she almost has the monthly required tribute, 5 days before the season ends, just from the handful of world bosses and rift monsters she's bashed to death with her mace. A few bros took my warning seriously, and they're grinding pretty hard to make up for lost tribute. (since they want to stay) The rest of those behind, I'm going to kick when the next season begins. Also, I've noticed you've played some of my Dusts. What's your clear time? Yesterday, I had my fastest times against Dust and GateKeeper. (with 1 carve)

Not sure on times, but.....not good. The few I have cleared have been multiple revives, etc. just been grinding for spalls, still have SEVERAL "B" grade things, working on getting an armor set together that'll max damage and stagger.....

And 550 Tribute a day is reachable simply by checking in on attendance and donating 100 guild coins. Literally no more effort that firing the game up and tapping the screen a couple times.....

And 550 Tribute a day is reachable simply by checking in on attendance and donating 100 guild coins. Literally no more effort that firing the game up and tapping the screen a couple times..... Exactly. ...but apparently that is too much to ask for some players. I don't think the hangup is them not even logging in. I think they want to keep every drop of resources for themselves. (since a max pledge is ONE of the following: 100,000 gold or 500 bones or 200 gems) I've had 2 players WANT to join our guild, but after I mentioned the 550 tribute requirement, they balked. One simply wants to just be a name on a list apparently.... and get free gems at the end of the month for not doing any work. The other, refuses to play rifts/worldbosses/quests because they want to remain LOW LEVEL because they got an OP rift weapon during the Ire 2.0 hard release celebration, they're lvl40 and want to just exploit the low level hunt league. ._. Sad really... Not sure on times, but.....not good. The few I have cleared have been multiple revives, etc. I took a look at your character and I do have a few suggestions that may help, that DO NOT involve any change in your gear. If you'd rather pave your own way, then just ignore what's in the spoiler brackets. - You have NO bonus skills on your boots, helm or King sword. Pressing "change bonus skills" ONCE for those 3 pieces (will cost 210 gems for each piece, 630 gems for all 3) can ONLY help. Depending on your luck, it may help DRAMATICALLY. - One of the patrons on Discord mentioned character level corresponding with "game difficulty". A higher level does NOT mean your character is stronger, but between character level and enemy level, there is a "damage/defense curve". You may have noticed that the Fallichs on NG3 1-1 are easier than the Fallichs on NG3 6-2. That is because of the level difference. (NG3 1-1 Fallich's are lvl71 while the NG3 6-2 Fallichs are lvl85) That being said, Dust is a lvl90 monster. He will be automatically easier if you were lvl80 fighting him, vs lvl75 fighting him. You will hurt him more. He will hurt you less. ....because of the curve involved when player and enemy are closer in level. If we were allowed to be lvl90, I'm POSITIVE a moderately build lvl90 player could ECHO Dust. Lvl80 also allows you to unlock the next tier blessing boost. Your blessings are longer and stronger. You can see the increase by pressing on the church statue when there's no blessing, and pressing on "prayer hands" for Current lvl and Next lvl.
Regarding XP gains if you're interested - You have a King Sword, which is statistically the MOST POWERFUL sword in the game. (excluding Mot's heroic and legendary Deathly Sword which are unicorn equivalent in rarity). NG4 gives 3 times the XP of NG3, which is even more per run than high level world bosses and rifts Lyrius and below, which is only a greater gain with the 7.8% XP skill you already have. If you're interested in an XP grind, I would recommend NG4 1-1 MANUAL RUNS. Running straight to the boss just for the XP (perhaps the merchant chest along the way) will give you mad gains. You can also babysit a couple echo runs to see if he survives... The creatures there are weak to physical (King's has massive physical AND lightning), Fallich's have low poise (King's is the stagger master) and the creatures attack night (your best element resistance). Not to mention, its the lowest level NG4 quest.
- Dust spikes can be blocked. Your 31% guard skill will help prevent "block stagger". Some players prefer this (blocking the first spike set while backing away from the other 2) instead of just trying to dodge them, and risk rolling into the next set of spikes.

Looks like we've got 5-6 people that need trimmed... You are heard, fellow guild officer. I brought this very thing up on Discord, with your comment as the catalyst. In the spirit of this being OUR guild, I like to get a general opinion, at least from the more senior members on this. We've decided (and updated the guild notice) that any player behind on tribute for 1 week, is "at risk" of being banished from the guild. Considering I've got a KNOWN heavy hitter waiting to join, that "at risk" has become "immanent". Max pledges is the ONLY source of daily guild coins for any guild. We can't afford to have more than a few people NOT make daily max pledges, before we'll slowly deplete and not be able to summon Mot according to the new set schedule. Yes, there's 4 that are behind, but 2 in the 1k tribute range are on the chopping block. One more than the other, since I have never contacted one of them, and I'm not about to publicly "tribute shame" anyone in the in-game chat. (unlike what some guilds do, unfortunately) Got one that has lower tribute (in the 1k range), but he just joined 1 days ago and is doing GREAT based on how short he's been in the guild.

ESPECIALLY Mot now being a 24 hour window I agree, but if there's still a 3 day cooldown, we'll need to go back to the drawing board for a summon schedule. XD ....but that still be less of a cluster. Timed WBs on the weekends now means my bones and gems are fugged. LOL I hope we can composite B grade capes. It almost seems from the update notes that its A and above capes... ...also, "7) Minor adjustments." could be ANYTHING. Something unnoticeable, something that completely changes the entire game.

Finally took out this turd (Vidar) for the first time this morning. Once again, there's nothing in Ire that I can't beat. ....and I did it with 23k night res, which is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay lower than what's actually "recommended" to beat him. This has to be the most preposterous and excessive "boss fights" I've done in my last decade of gaming. The boss before him (GateKeeper), I can beat in around 1m10s with 1 carve. The boss before that (Dust), 45 seconds with 1 carve and no blessing.... but beating Vidar, using the weapon he's WEAK to, required 10 MINUTES of mashing dodge, rolling around like a heap of laundry in a clothes dryer 99% of the time just to live, and actually landing hits 1% of the time. Ridiculous gembait. XD

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wow. Funny story. I handed my wife my phone to open my Complimentary. "Here. You get this one. I always flubb these up." That's what she got for me. What's even crazier is that's the SECOND mace she's got from pressing 1 button. (the first was a 4 open on her game during Chuseok) That being said, it's one heck of a collector's item.... but I'm not going to use it. I've got a list of reasons why, but I'll not rant. [rofl]
