Just found this band from Russia, so extremely talented! So good, lyrics are straight from the new testament. Trying to get a cd.

Is their name in reference/defiance to Cradle Of Filth?

Talking with them. They are looking for a label so who knows how long it will be til it comes out. But the two tracks I have heard are AWESOME.

Sounds pretty cool, hope they find a label I like their approach to combine Death and Black Metal with a melodic approach, even with some clean vocals

I just listened to them. They sound great - I'm impressed.
I'd like to know why they chose "Cradle of God" as a band name...

yeah i really dig these guys, I sent them an email the other day but haven't heard back yet (used the email addy on their facebook about us page) asking if they have any recordings or even remember the guy who did Unevil Hopes which was primitive black metal with piano but he was from Russia also. I had a demo tape from Unevil Hopes, can't remember if I ever had the split ep with Vixivi tho.
In any event, hopefully they record and release more down the road

I Think their booklet expectations is a bit high. The album will be 9 tracks and 50 minutes long but they want a 20 page booklet and that is WAY beyond my means even IF I could find a pressing plant that would do one that big. I have recommended them to Nokturnal Hemizphear. However if they can't find a label by the fall and I can come up with the money I would love to release this. But right now I don't have the means to do so.

I would be willing to contribute to some of the cost Larry if it would help get the album out. Just depends on if the find a label

Or perhaps they will lower their expectations for their debut (?) a little bit with time.
If you're that blessed to achieve sensational sales with your first release, there should be enough time to aim for a opulent package with further releases - but that's really just my two cents.
