Hey guys, what's up? Everyone ready for Christmas? I pretty much am, except for my dad's gift. Leaning towards an Amazon gift card since that's what he likes anyway. I got myself a little gift... Lol... I got a drone for $40. Nothing special, kind of a cheaper one of course just to try out the technology. It is a Cheerwing Peregrine. It does have a camera, altitude hold (hover capability), FPV (fly with video on cell phone with app), removable battery. If I like playing around with it I might eventually get a more expensive one. Those Syma X20's for about $25 are supposed to be very good flight control for a tiny handheld (but no camera of course). Have you guys seen those official licensed Star Wars drones? X-Wing, TIE Advanced, Speeder bike, Millennium Falcon, with laser tag technology where you can battle with friends and after the drone registers that it's been hit three times it will "crash" to the ground? Like, OMG... where were those when I was a kid? I think they are around $150-ish? Not sure on that. Anyway, Merry Christmas guys and I hope everyone is well!

Everyone ready for Christmas? No. Since my surgeon recommended I make a will (which does NOT help with my anxiety) I pretty much put everything on hold... Recording New Music. Christmas shopping. Going out and doing anything. I'll hit all that after I live through tomorrow's surgery.

What is the likelihood of success vs complications vs death??? No person knows. There might be some statistic out there, but chance/luck has no guarantee. Even if its a 1% chance of something going horribly wrong and I die or I'm a vegetable or something.... somebody's gotta hit that, for it to not be 100% My wife is trying to reassure me that this procedure is a no biggie dime-a-dozen type thing.... mostly she's doing that because I'm being rather grim (not the metal kind of grim either) with my thinking and responses. Her "What do you want to eat tonight?" Me "For my last meal on this planet? Ummmmmm...." Her Her "Can you take out the trash tonight so I don't have to take it out tomorrow?" Me "Sure, I can take out the trash one last time..." Her Me "....uh, before I'll have a 20lb lifting restriction for a month?" Her "That's better...." Repeat, ad nauseum.

I went on a 2 hour adventure getting the last of my Christmas shopping done - something for my wife. Man, that trip wiped me out!
