Spoken word is cool. If I listen, it's probably Levi The Poet or a poet from P4CM (e.g., Jackie Hill Perry, Ezekiel Azonwu). Levi The Poet used to be in the hxc scene, with tracks on In The Midst Of Lions and Sleeping Giant albums. Interestingly enough, a poet from P4CM was on a For Today album. Here's one from Levi The Poet about living/suicide. Here's one that is convicting and extremely well-written and -performed: Edit: BRUH. This is like my 20th time watching the Ezekiel one. Guys ... IT IS AWESOME.

Not really related and should be on "album listening," but I happen to be listening to Shadows right now. It's been a while . . .

Okay, back to the topic. That Ezekiel one really is great! Not my usual thing, but that one is really well done.

ITMOL is so freaking good. According to my iTunes play count, I listened to their Out Of Darkness album 129 times (Shadows 53 times). But yeah, I'm glad you liked the Ezekiel one. It. Is. So. Good. ("Not righteous, but right-ish" and the "I surrender alllll..." part).

This is my all time favorite. "So every time another man just like her father bought her, she spent the nickels on diamonds for her daughter."
