Do any of you guys know about this? It's a satire news site like the Babylon Bee, but for the Christian metal scene. As the name implies, the focus seems to be on Christian black metal, but they talk about other stuff, too. Today's article was about Wintersoul releasing special light bulbs; the last one was about power metal band Theocracy. Haven't read all of the articles yet of course, but this is pretty great so far imo!

Really?! A new DH album is coming up? Yeah! Their last one, Outlive was a good album. They might add Black Metal elements just like Death Metal, Thrash Metal, Groove Metal, Metalcore, Nü-Metal, Gothic, Industrial, Electronic, Power Ballad, Pop, Alternative, Rock, Hardcore, and Punk. 🙂

"USA, Illinois" - not me, I swear!!! [rofl]
I know that site is satire, but I do think its funny when "people" say Christians can't make black metal. That's like telling iHOB/iHOP "You can't make burgers" at the same time they're making and selling burgers.

A play on the whole "we're not a Christian band, we're just Christians who happen to make music together" thing. The greatest example of this oxy moron I've ever seen is Lo-ruhamah (Which is a Christian NAme) with albums "The glory of God" (With a Christian Title) and with christian touched lyrics and yet after the release and even playing at Christian venues they came out and said we are not a Christian band. We were pushed to saying we were for the public, but are definitely not a Christian band. Ummm.... Okay...

I have never been able to figure out if they're actually Christian or not. Like there are bands in the secular scene who use Christian symbolism, but use it in blasphemous ways (inverting symbols, twisting the meanings of Bible verses, etc). So are Lo-Ruhamah one of those bands? Or are they just a Christian band in denial? It's so weird.

So are Lo-Ruhamah one of those bands? Or are they just a Christian band in denial? It's so weird. A band that started out Christian, and then didn't like the controversy or diedn't truly believe what they were "told" to make, and perhaps wanted to start a new band without the Christian lyrics or reputation due to a form of "falling away" and thus not have a "christian Stigma" for all their future acts.
