So I was going to invest in some Christian metal doom metal within the last year and I bought an ep with a leftover 4 dollars on my itunes card "just because" and it was a band called place of skulls. On a band I never seen anyone mention comes the track "Blood of JEsus" posted below. And I'm like WHAAAT!!! It was killa. so thus very rarely does it happen, but occasionally there is a track from an okay album or that is hidden away so no one can find it that dashes to pieces the standard and are automatic white metal gems. Tell me your hidden gems and perhaps others can collect them or they will be unknown forever!
Also, The band datum point replaced the disturbed band I listened to in my youth before I went all Christian Metal only:

Keep in mind this is a thread not for the hit singles of Antestor, of which everyone knows about...

Wow! That was a great pick snagging that Place of Skulls! Victor Griffin is an absolute legend! Place of Skulls is definitely on the secular doom radar. It'd be a gem for us because not many in the Christian scene would be following the guitar player for Pentagram's projects. Praise God Victor was born again and put together Place of Skulls. They have some incredible material! I got into them because I was into Candlemass, St. Vitus, Solitude Aeturnus and Trouble, etc and their album "With Vision" had Wino on it from St. Vitus/The Obsessed. I'd be picking the rest of their stuff if you like that!

Place of Skulls is great! Took me a little while to collect all of them because they can get pricey if you don't shop around and be patient. Some of the best doom metal period!
If you like stoner doom metal interlaced throughout with Sabbath-esque riffs, Starchild is one of the very few Christian bands and are pretty obscure as far as I know. The self-titled is definitely best but the sophomore release Born Into Eternity is good too.
