Next to my unblack metal collection comes my calm down other collection of Christian Gothic. Seeing myself to both Unblack Metal scene but also as the C-goth clash their are bands That seriously are awesome.
Dead artist syndrome - Brian Healey called tthe Father of the C-Goth movement Saviour Machine Leper Ending the viscous cycle Kohllapse - (Both albums must have) Early "The awakening" - not latter, he went out of his christian style into secular when he got more popular but tracks like "Martyr" off of the EP The Fountain and "Stigma" off the album the fourth seal of zeen. Batzz in the belfry Necromance The Eternal Chapter And a special notice to "Spirit Child" (When I used my Dad's account because of some labor I did for him, my Pastor Step-Dad recieved a thank you email from thefirstchurchofthelivingdead thanking him for buying the album "the spell" from the artist "Spirit Child". He was looking at me saying; Really, this is Christian?" I just laughed.
Also as a side twist their are Gothic bands who are "Christian Friendly" like blacksoul seraphim and Virgin Black. Yet their has been controversy about Virgin Black in the air. Some Christian Internet Radio stations play them, some don't. Your ideas on this style?

Great post! I heard of those bands you mentioned. I listen to a couple of songs from Saviour Machine, I have an album from Leper, and an album from Eternal Chapter. Itβs been a awhile since I listened to them. My first Christian Gothic band was Coriolis. They were one of the last bands I discovered when I was in high school before I graduated. I was blown away by their music they play. Also, I was amazed that Christian Goths exist. God is using them to reach out the Goth Scene. What a beautiful subculture! π€

Is Luminaria's Arche goth? It's an awesome album regardless.

As mentioned, Blacksoul Seraphim is great gothic doom. There are a lot of great Christian/Christian-friendly gothic black metal bands, too.

Is Luminaria's Arche goth? It's an awesome album regardless. It has goth elements, but I also bought that album years ago, and yes, awesome! There are alot of bands who have gothic "tendencies" which scream harder metal, like royal anguish or the beckoning:

The only bands on this thread that I listen to are Saviour Machine, Virgin Black, and Kohllapse. I do like some goth rock though. That Blacksoul Seraphim that a couple of you have mentioned sounds interesting. Where should I start? A particular album? I don't want to sample the wrong material and get turned off lol.
I'm a huge Type O Negative fan so I listen to them often too. Not Christian, I know. Peter was Catholic though and returned to his faith before he died so I'm hoping to see him in heaven. Funny guy. Miss him a lot.

I do like some goth rock though. That Blacksoul Seraphim that a couple of you have mentioned sounds interesting. Where should I start? Necromance and leper. When it comes to leper, you must visit his bandcamp page. link posted below. He has three main label albums, yet his stuff on his bandcamp page is different. Album I'd advise you start with is filth, and also the two free downloads of goodbye cleveland and an audience of no one, which are gothic rock covers of bands. Leper has many albums, and is an awesome band who can whip an album really quick.

What's funny is, Leper is by far Skot's most well-known project, but it was the third of his I found. The first I discovered was an obscure project called Asylum Worship that I randomly found on Myspace a couple years ago. Later I found his project Ballpeen Hammer on Facebook. And only then, did I find his main one, Leper.
