I'm not making this to be any sort of political debate.
My interest in politics is very little anyway.... but this thread is more about public relations, react and response and WTF is going on than it actually has to do with political policies and procedures....
This whole Red Hen restaurant and Sarah Sanders thing bothers me considerably....
The fact they asked her to leave just because she works for Trump, doesn't bother me at all - not one bit.
I'm of the personal opinion that a business owner should have the right to refuse products and services to anyone they want, for whatever reason. ....just like they have the right to hire someone or not for whatever reason.
If they're gay, they're black, they've got a green shirt on, they work for Trump, they ordered unsweet tea, etc. etc. and that means "no soup for you" or "no job for you"....
that part, I'm fine with.
...but the fact that AFTER Sarah Sanders left peacefully, and went to ANOTHER restaurant, and that Red Hen restaurant owner FOLLOWED Sarah to the new restaurant and asked her to leave there too? What on God's green earth makes them think they have the right?
There's a not so fine line between peaceful protest and disturbing the peace / harassment and after this and Maxine Water's public rant (where she encouraged everyone to tell members of Trump's cabinet that they're not welcome anywhere in this country apparently) ....to me, the line has been crossed.
This is just straight up extremist shunning.
Both sides seem to be pointing the finger at each other. I'll be the first to admit, Trump has perfected the Art of Trolling and throws a lit match on their gas pile. ....but man, too many people losing their shit over it.
What the hell ever happened to "if it doesn't apply, let it fly"? or "do not feed the troll"? ....
I hate to say it.... but at the rate we're going, I sense a type of civil war 'a brewin' before his first 4 years are up.
war as in violence and death war....
Thoughts?
