FYI I added ALOT of titles to the MBR store this week. Keep in mind that all titles are used.

Blake you should make your own thread about your store / radio stations so we know where to go to get updated!

Everyone, I've removed Soundmass and Nordic Mission from the Trusted Stores list. A brief explanation why is here.

I think NordicMission should be listed as a trusted store. It is definitely a safe place to buy from. And seems like most people has only good experience with them. (I hope in your case Thomas, it's just a misunderstanding) Last but not least Pål and NordicMission has been one of the most prominent force in Christian metal since the mid 90s. In Europe at least.

The last time I bought from him was in 99 when I looked at him from across a table... so I have not experienced Nordic Mission since dealing with him in carrying Hguols CDs.
I hope its just an understanding too... let me ask, when you order from him, does it take a month + to get the merchandise? ...or is this just when artists try to get their compensation that he doesn't respond at all?

I find that orders can come fast. but for the most part it takes some time. Sometimes the delivery is very slow. I have worked with Nordic Mission as an artist and they are slow at reply to mail. so you need to have some patience.
Btw Pål & co are resurrecting NordicFest this summer. I guess they are quite busy with that.

My orders were always shipped within a very few days; like all of us they can't control how long it might take for an order to arrive once it has left their hands.

I have ordered from Nordic Mission and Soundmass for many years, and they both are top blokes. It is crazy to think they are slighting you. For crying out loud have some patience.

I think that waiting three weeks is patient enough, especially involving a situation where NM probably owes Thomas money.
If Pål ever replies to Thomas, we should then consider re-adding NM.

ok yeah 3 weeks is very patient. Must be some other reason, like hes away or, " da de da " was said in the contract.

If he EVER replies, I MIGHT consider adding him again, but only with the disclaimer of his lack of communication if there is an issue.
That's the real problem here. If you guys ordered and got your CDs, you're not in a situation where you would need to contact him... but what if there was a problem with your order? (Got lost in the mail, arrived damaged)
There's no reason, based on my experience, that he wouldn't take more than a month, if he even communicated with you at all, to reply to your problem either.
Soundmass, I will add their downloads page back today, (and their dot com when its not a blank page) as they communicate and take care of their customers... but I will put a disclaimer of what his consignment terms are and his reluctance to pay artists. (He did eventually pay for the CDs, but I had to goad him to pay me, even after he said he owed me the money)

At least that is my experience.

Oh yeah Jeremy! You run a tight ship! I can't imagine any complaints from your end! Well, nothing seems to be happening with Nordic Mission. Its not my intention to defame him on Facebook, but I'm hoping that making others there aware of my experience will either get him to take some action, or at least someone will wake him up.

I'm surprised that Pål still hasn't emailed. You mentioned in the consignment thread that you emailed him multiple times. I'm curious to know, when did you send the most recent one?

I used the form on his Nordic Mission website every time so I'm certain those don't go to his spam. Its been a few weeks since I sent the last one.
I am definitely the type of person to follow up with someone. ...but I'm not going to repeatedly prompt anyone. That just annoys the sender and receiver. In my business experience, if there's zero engagement/response after two-three e-mails, then its apparent he: a) doesn't know how to manage his email account b) cares only about customers, not artists (or at least this artist/project)
Some of you might see this as a thinking error, but I don't think its my responsibility to have to chase him down or find him somewhere on the world wide web when he's a Christian and runs a business that SHOULD be ethical/practical.
The fact that I'm a very reasonable and trusting person only makes the fact that he has made 0% effort to contact me despite my MULTIPLE e-mails to him all the more infuriating.
I just hope NONE of you are actually in a situation where you have to contact him. Do any of you think that if you had an issue where you were owed $30, that he would contact you immediately, but not me?

Yeah thedane, there's a few threads around here that explain why I removed Nordic Mission. Sure, they've shown themselves to be trustworthy to paying customers...
....but when they owe artists, (in this case, me) they don't pay their dues. (and don't respond to e-mails)

Metal Helm is worthy of my trust as well. I have ordered from them only once but have supported Nokternal Hemizphear too. I especially like how your webstore is so easy to use and the fact that you have so many shirts that I have yet to order By the way, I made a thread here about reprinting classic shirts, maybe your store could do a Horde -shirt, just without that provocative pentagram crushing as I find you can hardly get a conversation going with a non-christian black metallist while wearing that, hah.

i haven't tried in a while but i had asked Jayson S about printing Horde shirts a long time ago, and he did not think it a good idea at the time. maybe it is time for me to ask again. i only print shirts that i workout a contract with and all bands get paid a share for each of their sales. But i would definitely be interested in getting some more bands on board. Also, it might help if these bands heard from fans on this topic

[shoppingcart] Yes, i think that will happen, we are actually in the investigation stage of redoing our website. maybe early 2016 launch... to be honest, sales have been really slow and a bit discouraging lately. we are not sure why, but have a couple of guesses This month is exciting with both Broken Flesh and Vials of Wrath coming out 4 days apart

i just want to vent and say that sometimes it is hard to be a "trusted store" to everyone all the time... i have a customer who is not satisfied with the condition of a cd, and he has a valid point if indeed the cd was scratch when he opened it. It is possible because as most of you here know, not all CDs in our scene are factory sealed. but what got to me was his lack of understanding and / or patience. i received multiple emails Saturday and Sunday asking for immediate response and refund. Jason and i typically do not answer emails on the weekend because we guard that time for family time. When i responded (because of his persistance) that we will make it right but to please give us to Monday, and that Jason hadn't even seen the emails yet, he called our integrity and our faith in Christ into question. just frustrating! ok. thanks. i am done now...

It's amazing how quickly people pull the "it really makes me question your faith" card... That is one of the least constructive, judgmental, holier-than-thou (quite literally haha), arrogant, and deprecating things a Christian can say to another. It seems it's usually used in situations like this where someone's faith truly has no bearing in the accusations made. All that to say, I commiserate with you my friend. I had an ex-girlfriend accuse me of the same due to something my friend had said that I had nothing to do with. Sigh... Regardless, 1) it's not up to this customer to make any judgments about your faith in Christ, and 2) EVEN IF IT WAS, his accusations are completely off-base and unsupported by any evidence whatsoever. For all we know, he's got some personal stuff he's working through - because unless I'm seriously missing something, his accusations are very illogical and unfounded which is usually an indication of someone acting mostly/solely on emotions. But who knows. All you can do is to be loving and patient to him and let everything else sort itself out...

I think its too much to ask for to have an e-store that would respond 24/7. Everyone that has common sense should understand that. The things that have bugged me with people who sell records or who I tried to take contact for asking the bands lyrics, merch or something else is that they take like weeks to respond and some wont even respond at all. That is the kinda stuff that should be questioned. We should be patient especially with small businesses, cos I can see how running things can take a lot of time, especially if you are not doing it full time and you work to elsewhere to get the food to the table. So few days is nothing, several weeks or months is. So I guess it is not hard to be a trusted store if people just understand some basic rules of human functions, like the fact that one day has only so many hours and so forth There will always be people that no one can seem to please, but I hope they dont get youguys down, as I totally respect what youre doing and I think youre doing it well.

sorry I just thought it was what sites we would recoomend @thomas sorry to hear about your bad experience. I didnt see that you removed it. I added those two site because I as an artist had great experiences with both of them. Not that I want to your bad experience though.
