You musicians out there, have you ever recorded something.... then put it into "storage". The years go by and you forget about it. Then an outside remark makes you think of old projects, and you decide to look through your archives. You find a piece you made, a recording, that has aged rather well? I encountered this today. It was music I made for an old javascript game I created. A homebrew PsP game type thing. I guess I forgot how "technical" the music I made for it was... because its like I hear it with new ears and I really like it. XD So weird, I remember a HUGE music influence of this creation was the music for Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance (GameBoyAdvance) I've always liked the music for Caslevania games, but on that game, the music was so strange and (pun intended) dissonant. This is an instrumental piece. The lineup is: Harpsichord, strings, drums. Sequenced just like I did with Hguols. Here's the track if you guys want to listen to it. The Field of KingsCareful. Its a 16 minute epic. Enjoy! Please share your stories if you have them.

I have a BUNCH of lost music, but it's truly "lost". Either never released and later deleted altogether, or released and then (apparently?) deleted and/or destroyed before anyone downloaded/copied it.
This thread has reminded me of a "sound effects" thing I did a few years ago. Five and a half minutes of what's supposed to sound like a storm at sea. It was only ever released on a CD-R for my church's Bible School program and I think it turned out well, considering. Maybe I'll upload that eventually. It's pretty much the only old recording I have left. (Not that I'm complaining!)
About the song you posted, I will definitely listen to that when I'm feeling better. I don't know Castlevania's soundtrack but if a song has a harpischord in it, I'll probably like it.
