There are a few people in the scene in their 40s. I think I've heard of one or two people in their 50s, but I can't remember for sure. But I think I've indisputably found the oldest person today, Ogrim, drummer of the extremely underground project Vaande. He was born in Oslo...................... in 1950. That would mean he was 54-56 when Vaande's first demo was recorded, and 55-57 when "Naade" was released. Making him 68-70 this year. I find it absolutely crazy, and awesome, that someone that age is involved in Christian black metal!

Wait. On archive.org, there's a link ("Ogrim Blogg") to Blogspot, where it clearly says he was born in 1950, and there's no obvious reason for him to make that up (it's not a situation where one would joke, or lie) ... but on DeviantArt, he says he was 19 in 2007. I really have no idea. Why are there so many contradictory things like this in underground metal??? Why? It makes no sense!

Hard to top Sir Christopher Lee. It might be a stretch to call his Christmas metal as "Christian", but.... I'd only be so lucky to record a metal album and another metal single at age 92.
