So yesterday when I was trying to whittle down my Bandcamp wishlist (a fool's errand), I ended up on the blog for the guy from Rotting Serpent, who has decided that Christianity is compatible with the Left-Hand Path...or something? michaelmosher.blogspot.com/2020/09/nightside-christianity.htmlPerhaps I'm not familiar enough with the esoteric literature at this point. But this seems like either 1) goofy larping ("look at my cool bone crucifix necklace!") or 2) some absolutely terrible attempt to unite Christianity and occultism. As far as I remember, Christianity isn't even compatible with the Right-Hand Path, so why bother to act as if it's compatible with the Left-Hand one? But maybe there's something I'm missing here.

Perhaps I'm not familiar enough with the esoteric literature at this point. Me either, but my understanding of left hand and right hand paths, have to do with "magic"? (black magic on the left, white magic on the right) After reading that article (and the comments) I can't quite tell if its an attempted genuine blending of occultism and Christianity, or if its just an occultist perspective to Christian concepts. (ie: like eating the flesh of the Son of God and drinking His blood, as a "zombie-esque spell of ritual of devotion", as well as Jesus Christ's death and resurrection being some sort of "sin eating spell")
