I thought some interesting conversations could come up from a thread on the unblack metal wikipedia page. To start off: 1) What thoughts come up as you, a Christian black metal fan, read the page? 2) What thoughts might you imagine other folks would have reading the page? 3) What do you think your/our role/responsibility could/should be in alternating/maintaining the page (if any)?

1) What thoughts come up as you, a Christian black metal fan, read the page? My initial thoughts are its a secular perspective puff-piece. "Unblack metal (also known as Christian black metal) is a religious philosophy..." PFFFFFFFFFFF..... Every genre of music can be every genre of music regardless of lyrics, band member personal views, etc. - but no - black metal can't be just a genre of music for some reason. It has to either be a "satanic ideology" or "religious philosophy". ._. 2) What thoughts might you imagine other folks would have reading the page? "Only 31 bands? No wonder I've never heard of this." 3) What do you think your/our role/responsibility could/should be in alternating/maintaining the page (if any)? I question if the Wikipedia bots or shills would even allow the perspective from fans or bands not already listed.

The fact that most of the post is spent talking about whether black metal can be "Christian" really tells you something.
