Just some bands/projects people should check out or more people should check out.
Want to start with Bròn from Scotland. Really really great atmospheric bm!

Wow, NICE. Love it.
*cracks neck* I'll be contributing a bit to this thread. I'm gathering that since this is in the "black metal" thread, that these will all be secular mentions.
Devouring Star
Fhoi Myore

Especially like that Fhoi Myore song. Will have to keep that band in mind! Here's some nice USBM, think they have a sound of their own. Morthylla-Susurrans de Lamia

Eismalsott is also a decent underground band. You should check them out Ihversaw, Eismalsott was a band some members of Eis/Geist had! They had a new release, "Weißblendung", in 2014, after a long absence.

My two favorite secular black metal bands are Gaoth Anair and No Sleep Till Megiddo's very own Old Graves.

My two favorite secular black metal bands are Gaoth Anair and No Sleep Till Megiddo's very own Old Graves. Have you checked out the latest EP of Old Graves? Has been released on Naturmacht Productions and comes with beautiful six panel digipack. Tom, I also like Shores of Ladon (only have that Lupercal EP but it's really good). Here's another project I dare to file under "decent underground bm":

I have. It's pretty good, but I don't know if I like it as much as the first EP.
