Anyone else having unusual weather this summer?
I know there's a joke in Illinois "Don't like the weather? Wait 5 minutes." [candy]
So far this summer, its back to back severe thunderstorms and flash floods. ...which is unusual for July.
Its like yellow outside right now. So weird.

My girlfriend is in Chicago right now and was just telling me about the crazy weather! Sounds like nuts: one minute it's howling wind, the next calm, and the next lightning storms. I just wish we could get a little of that weather out this way... it's so dry...

This summer has been extremely hot here in Germany, about two weeks ago we had about 40 degrees Celsius (104 degrees Fahrenheit) which is quite unusual here. Not as extreme as you described it, but this was so far the hottest summer we had in the last few years

Sounds like a fairly normal day in oklahoma. Lately though its just been lots of rain and heat, resulting in ridiculous humidity

I showered twice in like a 2 hour period Sunday because of the humidity here. ...well, my fiance has been bringing some furniture here. It wasn't heavy or too much to move.
If it were any other time of year, I wouldn't have broke a sweat - but 90° heat (75 in the house) and humidity that you can almost drown in, I sweat through my clothes in an hour.

You know, I was just thinking about HAARP having something to do with the weather...

The fog was so thick this morning. I don't remember, as a kid, fog being so dense that you can't hardly see 50 feet in front of you.

Sometimes in early fall, fog will settle low around grassy areas but nowhere else (it'll stay off the roads for some reason). I've heard people call it "apocalypse weather". lol

I imagine that's because of the temperature difference between the road and meadows?
