Wow, I stumbled upon this band because I saw Jason from Metal Helm "liked" them on Facebook. I am mighty impressed! These guys sound fantastic. They play atmospheric black metal a la Vials Of Wrath, Wolves In The Throne Room, etc. www.facebook.com/grimablackmetalTheir debut album, Devotion To Lord is "coming soon." This just got bumped to one of my highest anticipated releases!

Seems like it was mentioned as an already released album by Martyrdom Records...couldn't find anything else but this post.

Very impressive indeed! Strange that the Martyrdom Records fb page shows a photo with the manufactured CD's stacked and ready to go yet it is no where found on the BMU store envy.

Interesting, you're right. Also, someone asked what that band was and Martyrdom's response was: Hmm, "not a Christian band." Interesting. I assumed they were due to their album title and all... I just sent them a message so we'll see if they respond.

Asked them via email. They told me that the album will be released on BMU in October... Yeah, I saw the video on BMU's facebook a while back. Great. Another good band gets ripped off by Mike. ...oh and I moved the thread to the black metal section of the forum, since it was mentioned they're not a Christian band.

Thanks Thomas, I was waiting to move it until we got better confirmation than just BMU's post. But I got a message back from Grima: Well that's a bummer...

You know, its one thing for someone to worship nature / something else, but another to HATE Christianity. (Not disbelieve, not dislike, but HATE it? That's a big thumbs down.)
I worship God, as I understand him and his name. ....and while I don't worship something else (by the same or different name), I don't HATE those that do.
Bands like that just need to frickin' grow up.

Seeing that this is an anti-Christian band, I don't think I'll be buying this album.

Agreed on all accounts... It really is a shame. I sent them a message back thanking them for the info and inquiring a little further into why. I hope they respond and to have a good dialogue about Christianity. My guess is that they have reason to hate "Christians," but perhaps not Christianity. We all fail to be good ambassadors of Christ from time to time, and someone may have acted out of selfishness towards them.
(FYI I changed the title since Vials Of Wrath remains unchallenged in music of this style within the Christian scene.)
