Their 2009 release, "Through the Valley Within," is arguably one of the best black metal albums released by Christians. Tragically, they have been without a vocalist and drummer since 2014 and their Facebook posts have remained guarded. Anyone know any recent news on this already legendary-status band?

Back on July 27, 2014 they wrote (on their Facebook page): At this moment we have about 7 new songs created. We have not decided if they all will fit on the next release but let us say we have 5-7 songs ready to take to the next level. We probably want 8-9 songs before we start to record. Since our drummer and vocalist left we have decided to replace them with studiomusicians for the next release. There is a drummer we have known since the early days of Shadows of Paragon, and he is very fast. He plays a variety of extreme styles but when it comes to our kind of metal I would say he plays quite similar to Christoffer. We hope this will work out as planned. You can listen to him playing grindcore here: resonancecascadegrindcore.bandcamp.com/ When it comes to the vocals, we have someone in mind but we will wait to announce details until all is clear. Some of you may know, but for those who don't know: We started to build our own studio right after the release of TTVW. We chopped down trees and detonated rocks outside our rehearsal room, to add a drum room and turn our rehearsal room into a real studio. We have also added a smaller recording room for vocals/acoustic guitar/amps. Today this studio is fully functional (although not completely finished yet) and right now we are investing in high-end converters and high-end preamps that will be needed before we record the next Shadows of Paragon album. Then on March 17 of this year they updated their cover photo with just the three (original) members. I hope they can get established and get the new material recorded. This would be an amazing release as they claim to have developed their talent even further since 2009's "Through the Valley Within."

It makes me wonder who the vocalist they have in mind is, and if said vocalist even panned out since they still only have the three original band members on their cover photo.
Anyone know anyone connected to this band that could get some more up-to-date information?

They certainly always had a step up on most others. I'd be keen on hearing new material from them.

Surely a very talented band. That grindcore-thing sounded good as well.

Yes, you need to get "Through the Valley Within," I believe Metalhelm still has some. It's a fantastic album. High-production, high-octane BM. Great concept lyrics too about someone depressed/suicidal coming to Christ.
