I listened through Hope for the Dying's new album the other day, and I'm definitely thinking of getting it! So good! I recently got Revulsed - Infernal Atrocity and the first two Orationem albums in the mail, so I'm excited to give those a spin soon

Nice haul! What do you think of the Revulsed album? I typically am not a big brutal or straight-up death metal fan (I prefer doom/death and progressive mostly) but I hear it's pretty good.

Thanks to my homeboy Nocturnal for the heads up: I finally snagged Frosthardr - Makteslos from an unlikely source (Metalhelm). I say unlikely because I thought MH mostly has new releases. Guess they acquired a copy somehow; either way, that's one step closer to having all of the rare releases I MUST MUST MUST have! [headbang]

Nice, dude. I love that EP.
I managed to get my copy of the Geistkrieg demo from Metal Helm. It's strange what they get sometimes.

They probably go to estate auctions watching out for rare CBM... LOL. "Over here we have Barry Manilow plantinum edition, we have Marvin Gaye: the early years, and over here we have Hortor's classic, 'Ancient Satanic Rituals Are Crushed In Dust'..."

LOL
If there was a CBM auction, I'd go to it.

Over the past several months, including my birthday:
Deborah - Song of Deborah Hawthorn - Dawn of Blood Elgibbor - The Inextinguishable Blaze Necromanicider - Revelations of the Third Millennium Immortal Souls/Mordecai - split Antestor - The Forsaken Grave Declaration - The Nightshift Worshipper Wintersoul - Frozen Storm Apocalypse Light to Dead - Crush the Idols Light to Dead - The Way Armath Sargon - When Love is Dead Immortal Souls - Wintermetal Deus Invictus - Staged in Waiting Antivenom - Sacred Funeral Day of Ascension - The Absurd Masquerade Opus Majestic - Wandering Thy Sacred Path in the Land of Dreams
That seems a bit crazy. I should probably take a break. Shaver's store closing was good to me.

I rather enjoy the album! I normally don't listen to that style of death metal, but I think I'm willing to give it more of a try. I'm not a huge fan of the vocals, but everything else I hear is top notch. Speaking of death metal, I recently took advantage (well, a couple of weeks ago) of a death metal bundle Metal Helm was selling, so I got some new stuff: Ascendant - Serenity Monotheist - Unforsaken (2012 Reprint) Lamentations - Echoes in the Wind Necroblation - Ablation of Death Necroblation - Stab Your Self Death Requisite - Promise of Doom Death Requisite - Second Death Also preordered Armath Sargon - Northern Chronicles of Worship And a recent eBay purchase, Ankou Awaits - Wyllt

Just got my copy of the new Elgibbor - Revenger of Blood, from the guys at Eternal records. it took a long journey to get from mexico to italy Well, I'v gotta say... Fire really outshined himself on this release. It's one of his best, if not THE best under the name Elgibbor. Raw, melancholic, aggressive black metal with some of the sweetest instrumentals he's ever released so far. Very solid release, worth tracking down. Only 50 copies worldwide I think, so you better hurry. I've got mine , and it's awesome

Finally picked up Throne of Awful Splendor "Supernal Hunger." Already heard it all on bandcamp and knew I loved it. Good to have a physical copy now.
He sent Wickeds End "Reformation" with it. Seems cool but I really prefer solos with my thrash unless it is really technical. Some meaty riffs though. I'll figure out how much I like it after more listens.

True quality music of a greater caliber on both counts. Excellent musicianship. I'm very interested to hear your thoughts on the new Armath Sargon because I almost purchased it too. Let me know what you think.

In lieu of going anywhere for Record Store Day, I just made a quick purchase on No Sleep. Funds are getting tight lately: Diadem of Dead Stars - The Mist Bearer Bundle (Cassette tape & CD) - I've really liked what I've heared from this group so far The Purpose of Small Animals - Self-titled Orationem - Pure Peace & Joy, Love & Kindness Ankou Awaits - Oberour Ar Maro (My Tom Eversole collection is almost complete, muahahaha!)

Been trying not to spend too much money on music lately, but I saw Pantokrator's Incarnate album on Discogs for only $8.92 and I couldn't pass it up!
