I haven't listened to these guys' album in a while but that's what I currently have spinning. It's a good one! Bann is listed as neoclassical/ambient black metal on the Metal Archives. I found out about them years ago and got their EP and then full length when it was released. They're not a Christian band, but their lyrics are clean (though all in German - which I think is pretty cool). I've chatted with their singer some via email way back when and he seemed like a pretty cool guy. Here's a song from their EP that I really like: (It takes a little while to get going, but once it does, it's pretty good.) And here's the first track from their full-length:

Glad you like! The only place I've EVER seen their stuff or sale not online is Aquarius Records - which is also the only place I've ever seen EEE albums too. (The guy that runs it also runs tUMULt Records which is Weakling's label, among other black metal groups). They have an excellent black metal selection. aquariusrecords.org/cat/b7.html

Thomas, did you ever end up getting their CDs? If so, what do you think?

Naw, I've listened to more online, but I'm really only a CD dude if that's the only format available. Other than that, I'm straight up digital.

Right on. Yeah I don't think they have a bandcamp or anything so CDs may be the only way (other than pirating or youtube streaming).

Hey Thomas, I noticed a guy is selling his Bann CDs on the Metal Archives for a good price. www.metal-archives.com/board/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=108428He's also selling his Asgaut CD. I have it and really like it a lot. It's Opeth-esque metal and features Kobi of Orphaned Land on guest vocals for one song.
