Always down with some Mgla, didn't think the newest was quite as good as With Hearts though.

NUHUH I've been listening to it a lot lately, but, it just doesn't have any of those "special songs" that kinda beckon you to listen over and over.

I listened to Exercises in Futility today. Its good - I like the tracks later in the album... ...but if I'm going to listen to "that" type of black metal, as cliche as it sounds, I would much rather spin the Black Cascade by Wolves in the Throne Room.

Nobody seems to really like BC but I think it's a fantastic album! I enjoy it more than the fan-favorite Two Hunters.

Two Hunters is good, but kind of sloppy in spots. Black Cascade has some KILLER riffs, I love the old tape production and its tight.

Black Cascade is hands down the best album from WITTR, but I don't think the two bands are comparable whatsoever.

Definitely a band that deserves the attention they get. They might now offer anything new to the table but what they do is high-quality, hard hitting, beautifully written and also catchy black metal. And from what I´ve heard, they have ties to Deathspell omega witch makes me like them even more. A band worth checking out, also have "Exercises" and "With Hearts" on vinly still need to order the rest. ^_^

Exercises in Futility was my personal album of the year for 2015.
I'm hoping to hear new music from them this year
