Less than one week until CaC's 8th studio album drops. Pretty stoked! This will be the first full length that is not part of the science fictional Coheed and Cambria narrative.
Anyone else listen to this legendary band? One of the few remaining really good mainstream rock bands who still record.

I bought a CaC album on a whim at a used book store over a year ago. I think it's in my basement somewhere. If the above sentences didn't make it obvious enough, it wasn't really my style.

Haha! It's all good. They've evolved over the years so there might be other albums you like! The early albums were a bit pop/punk/emo-ish, but newer ones are more progressive rock.

It was the vocalist's voice that I disliked the most out of all of it. I'll have to check out their new stuff though.

This is certainly better than whatever it was that I heard before (I'm pretty sure it was their third album) but still not really my style. I don't know what it is with my music tastes, but I have such a hard time getting into any sort of rock. I like some industrial rock though, like Coriolis and Circle of Dust (you've probably heard of the latter but not the former). Songs in the spoiler:
I used to like Stone Sour quite a bit but kinda lost interest in them as I got more into black metal. I liked Alter Bridge a lot too but same story for them. They have a few songs that I still like but the majority of it is just too boring for me. Sorry for going super off-topic lol.
