So I've been loving the new Kauan album which is based off of this event. That got me curious about it, as I remember reading about it briefly years ago, but didn't remember much. It's very interesting and mysterious! I wonder what actually happened... en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dyatlov_Pass_incident

Wasn't there recently a horror game that was made about this? Maybe it was a different event.

This movie on Netflix is a fictional story about this. Its a good movie. Things actually stay pretty true regarding the Dyatlov incident - the fictional part is more to do with what the new hikers find. __________________ My opinion, it has to do with extra terrestrials / extra dimensional beings... or Biblicaly, demons. The hikers saw "strange orange orbs of light in the sky". I won't steer the topic, but there are other incidences in history where people see abnormalities in the sky, and then something horrible happens. None of the incidences are similar (except for seeing strange lights before), but my theory is that it was some sort of test or experiment. For what reason, I don't know.

^I saw trailers for that one when it came out; didn't think it looked that good but maybe I'll have to check it out!
The orange orbs is a very strange thing indeed... especially since [according to the Wikipedia page] others in the area saw them. I'd put my money on the military myself, but it's a strange thing indeed...

It could very well be the military - your guess is every bit as good if not better than mine. ...but I can't help but wonder how and why would the military make such a crazy scene and do this ↓ to someone?

Agreed, though the Wikipedia page did have this bit about that:
Still... that's pretty extreme, and with it that cold up there, it doesn't seem that putrefaction would play such a roll:

I think I saw a History Channel show on this or something similar in Russia. Except I think it was thought that what they were trying to escape was possible Yeti. But I seem to recall something about orange orbs as well.

The 2014 Discovery Channel special Russian Yeti: The Killer Lives explores the possibility that the hikers were killed by a Yeti. This is what I saw.
