Believe it or not, I haven't forgotten about the black noise EP. Here's my updated progress on it. So far for the new noise EP, we have: Completed: - harsh noise + text-to-speech whisper screams + electronic elements - distorted wind samples + whisper screams + other effects that I'm working on - VERY noisy electropop + death/black vocals In progress: - noise / post-rock Haven't started: - black/noise + electronic influences - short rhythmic noise song I've recorded the "noise / post-rock" song. It ended up being more "acoustic music with noisy metallic stuff at the end", but eeeeeeeeeeeeeeehhhhhhhhhh. I have the files in Audacity now. The other two songs shouldn't take very long either. Of course, that's the songs themselves we're talking about, not my ability to stay focused and motivated long enough to finish them in a reasonable time frame. I might include one idea I have that's not included here, but we'll see.

Overall I am putting way too much effort into this considering how small of a crowd will presumably end up liking it, but God hasn't discouraged me from working on this yet, so I'll continue trusting. I'm not about to lean on my own understanding on this after 23 years of being wrong. Also _ -- I have decided that one of the songs on this thing will have rapping on it. Not sure if it's going to be very good rap, but it will be featured on this EP/album/thing

Okay, so the "stop" button on my recorder isn't working, so until that gets fixed, recording is on hold. This is also relevant to you, spiritussancti - my audio will take longer than expected.

First, it'll be released under my experimental/depressive project Vibrant Life instead.Originally I planned for Vibrant Life to be more "standard" DSBM, but I really just don't see myself doing that. Whenever I'm depressed, I seem to write experimental music for some reason. Second, tracklist will be (not necessarily in this order!)1) "harsh noise + text to speech" 2) "VERY noisy electropop" 3) "distorted winds samples + whisper screams" 4) "noise / post-rock" 5) a melancholic ambient song I wrote around the same time as this EP, though originally not planned to be on it 6) a depressive black metal-ish song I wrote earlier this year - The "short rhythmic noise song"... eh, isn't happening. Partway through recording it, I realized that I had unintentionally taken the melody from another band, and I didn't want to do that. I might reuse the lyrics in a future song with a different melody though. The EP will probably be released this year yet. I just have to mix tracks 5 and 6. Fair warning though -- most of this music was made purely as an expression of emotion, so it's not exactly "carefully crafted". It's very rough around the edges. I think it's good enough, but don't expect perfection.

TEXT-TO-SPEECH NOISE RAP, featuring the beautiful vocals of "Male (Whisper)". Get ready to regret ever joining the metal underground, you Antestor and Crimson Moonlight-loving normies! Btw even though it's only 7 songs, it'll be between 30-40 minutes. FIRST FULL-LENGTH ALBUM I'VE EVER DONE IN MY LIFE EVER unless you count this!

Let’s get this posted on YOtube, pronto! Uh..? I'm confused. It is posted on YouTube. The video is in the post you quoted. Glad you like the song anyway! I always thought that was a good one, but it never got much attention.
