I added Ancient Sonnet and Frozen Scene. ... Can anyone help out with these? ... Has anyone even heard of these projects? Edit: Also, Thomas Eversole , when you said "F.O.G.", are you sure you were talking about a black metal band? I found a band with that name here but they're not black metal.

Ancient Fortress from New Zealand. But apparently there was also an Ancient Fortress from South Africa. Also unblack.

I can't find samples. But one site I just found does describe them as "black gothic rock". Not sure why they used the word "rock", but anyway, goth stuff usually has a lot of synths, so yep

That didn't take very long. LOL I even searched all these different keywords on Google! ... And it was right there all along? Well, thanks! The weirdest thing is, I've even seen this page before. One of my friends even "liked" the page. So I guess I just forgot about it..? I don't know, lol. Thanks for looking it up!

Kinda sad that projects get abandoned to the point where they're long buried like that.

AA was my second music project and it sucked REALLY bad! There's a reason why it's gone. I can send y'all a link if you really want to hear it.

Small update on the whole "Ekklesia Mortifis / Man Killed Eden" thing. If you guys don't remember those names, they're the totally unrelated bands with almost identical "members wanted" pages. I found out today that both projects are from Massachusetts, so I feel pretty confident now in saying they are, in fact, from the same person According to Man Killed Eden's guestbook, the guy's name is apparently Don C.

Ancient Fortress from New Zealand. But apparently there was also an Ancient Fortress from South Africa. Also unblack. Ancient Fortress (NZ)was originally called Othniel then i discovered a Christian Gothic metal band from South Africa called Othniel so i changed the name to Ancient Fortress then discovered on facebook in 2013 that there was a christian metal band called Ancient Fortress from South Africa. I said gi'day to the south african and we laughed about it.

Kekal - Beyond the Glimpse of Dreams 1998 cassette (INDONESIA)
Do you (or anyone else) know what the authentic tape issued by THT Underground looks like? Is it just a blank cassette or are there markings on it? Thanks.

I had a THT compilation with Beliah on it and I had the Embrace the Dead THT cassette, but I had Beyond the Glimpse of Dreams on CD and I'm not sure what the cassette for that would look like. The Embrace the Dead tape had similar artwork to its CD release. The compilation tape (can't remember the name of it) had red (VERY red) paper, with printed artwork on it.

I know the artwork is the same as the CD, but I don't remember if the tape has professional printing on it, or if it's hand written or if there's nothing on it all. Now I'm wondering about the "Beyond the Glimpse..." cassette because if I buy a copy I want the real deal and don't want to get ripped off. Thus, I'm hoping someone can tell me if its a pro-cassette, handmade, or has no label or anything on the cassette itself.

The cassette has the moss forest photo cover, same as the CD. When i got the CD release in 99 i gave away the tape to a bro so from memory it was clear cassette with pro printed text in white i think.
EDIT; sorry i remembered wrong about the cover for that Kekal"Beyond the Glimpse of Dreams" cassette was not the moss forest picture thats on the CD, its the sky/lake or sea photo with the frame as seen at discogs.

I have the "Contra Spiritualia Nequitiae" and "Embrace the Dead" cassettes and they are black (a clear black if that makes any sense) without any writing. I found pictures of a "Beyond the Glimpse of Dreams" cassette online and it looked the same so I guess that's how THT did them back then.

I have the "Contra Spiritualia Nequitiae" cassette also and it has the clear plastic like the photo above yet with a white sticker strip with type saying KEKAL demo' 96 on one side below the reels. The"Beyond the Glimpse of Dreams" cassette i had actually could have been black that rings a bell, honestly i forget. The THT comp that Thomas mentioned i have on cassette also its called Pre-Destruction Extremity and the cassette is a solid pastel green with no text. The Bealiah demo cassette i have is clear with a wide band of black through the middle with gold text side A ,B , looks like some standard tape for recording , and says " special for broadcast recording" on both sides.

That Bealiah demo is the one with the red insert right? Would be cool to have. Do you have the "Weeping at the Crimson Moon" cassette? If so, what does the cassette on that one look like?

The Bealiah demo has a light brown insert (j-card) with a white paper lyric sheet that folds up several times and fits in the case behind the cassette. Bombworks put out a Bealiah CD anthology of the Dead in 2008 and there's a picture in the insert of the 4 demo covers including the "Weeping at the Crimson Moon" cover has a drawing of 4 hooded figures looking up at a full moon with forest trees in the background.
Also sorry i remembered wrong about the cover for that Kekal"Beyond the Glimpse of Dreams" cassette was not the moss forest picture thats on the CD, its the sky/lake or sea photo with the frame as seen at discogs. It was probably a clear cassette with a typed sticker text.

There must be some variation because all of my Kekal cassettes look like the one above and came from reliable sources (I have Contra Spiritualia, Beyond..., and Embrace...).
I bought a copy of the "Weeping at the Crimson Moon" cassette so I guess I'll see what the tape looks like when it gets here. I've fallen in love with that album.

How do you people even find this stuff? Not that I have the disposable income to blow on rare tapes, it's more that I can't even find this stuff!
