That "epoch of indifference" quote I did in the Shoutbox a while back got me in the mood for some In Flames.
Here's the song the quote was from:
I'm sure someone here does, but who likes this AWESOME Swedish melodic death metal band???
I like old In Flames and new In Flames both, and I even saw them live in Knoxville back in '09! Great, fun show!!!

The only song I know by them is "Take This Life". Overall I tend to know individual songs by bands, more than entire albums or discographies.
I'll listen to the song you posted later.
Edit: It doesn't sound bad at all, but it just didn't stick with me very much.

I listened to them in the 90s, didn't follow what they did in the last decade and then bought their last album for e very few Euros. I understand that many old fans are disappointed because of the new sound, but I like it. Well, at least from time to time.

Gotcha. Song I posted is older anyway, like 1999.

I own The Jester Race, Lunar Strain, and Colony and think that all three albums are pretty good. I never got super into them though.

You should check out their album "Reroute to Remain," it's one of the most emotionally charged melodic death metal releases I've ever heard... the band started to move toward their new sound on this record so be aware it doesn't sound quite like the albums you own but go in with an open mind. Reading along with the lyrics is fun on that album too.

Here's a really cool track from their 2008 album "A Sense of Purpose" that showcases their new sound. A very passionate vocal performance on this track as well I might add.

I don't own any of their albums but I've seen 'em live twice and they put on a fantastic show!
