What in the world? Brazil scene is crazy... It is, definitely. Although most of these obscure bands were found by a friend who has access to a lot of old South American zines, and seems to have a lot of friends. I have to wonder if there are also a ton of obscure bands in other regions that we haven't heard about yet because of language barriers, etc.

Added Hvitetrone, Norway. UA link pending. Also, GUYS, YOU DID NOT HAVE TO DO THIS. THANK YOU, THOUGH! I doubt you can even begin to grasp how much it means to me that people appreciate this work. ENOUGH TO PROMOTE IT ON MY BEHALF. Thank you!

Added: Within Thy Wounds, active, USA Cautionary Tale, active, USA Moved: Exalted Savior -- from International, back to Canada Rotting Serpent -- from Canada, to International Noizen, who lives in Greece, left Exalted Saviour, and joined Michael's other project Rotting Serpent, so now the former is a Canadian solo project again, while the latter is now an international band.

Added the Runic spelling for Allsherjar, "ᚨᛚᛚᛋᚺᛖᚱᛃᚨᚱ". It might look like boxes or other placeholder symbols (as it does on my desktop), but they're actually Runes (as seen on my cellphone).

Removed Imperium Domini. Not CBM / unblack -- the band members are Christians (having played in Azbuk and I think, some other bands) but Imperium Domini was a safe-secular side project of theirs.
Not that I have a problem with safe-secular music of course, it's just, it doesn't fit in the list then.
This actually really sucks, because I had just made a bunch of updates to their UA page, and now according to my self-inflicted rules, I had to revert that page to a "draft" because the band doesn't fit UA site criteria.

1) Added Apodictia, Finland, active 2) Added an "etc" note next to Armath Sargon. I figure it'd be kind of excessive to add every previous name of Armath Sargon, but "etc" indicates there's more than just the one already listed.

(Hence the reason for these two being in the same post.) That's my hypothesis.

Is it your view that Apodictia is Armath Sargon? (Hence the reason for these two being in the same post.) I always post updates in list format. (Whenever there's more than one update made at a time.) Like this one for example. That said, yeah, I definitely wondered the same thing, but they're not the same person. Apodictia is apparently run by this guy. (NOTE: I don't speak much Finnish and have no idea what he's saying in his videos.)

How do you know of a new band with only a single on the very day it is released? Your mind is powerful.

I think it is safe to say your dedication to the scene is unparalleled. In spite of my hesitance to accept praise/complements for things, I am extremely grateful and touched that my work is appreciated so much. There have been times throughout my life where I put a ton of work into something, yet it seemed to go unappreciated. I'm very glad this isn't one of those times. Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain. -- 1 Cor 15:58 Yet I do need to point out -- for honesty's sake, if nothing else -- that the work God has put into all this shouldn't be ignored. While my struggle with depression and overall motivation isn't constant, it's substantial enough that my work in the scene wouldn't even be a quarter of what it is, if I were left to my own devices. I know myself, and I know how easy it's been in the past for me to procrastinate, etc. God has provided so much throughout all this.
