Instead of spamming this forum with a ton of useless threads of many bands, I'm just gonna stick with this one and keep spamming this thread.
Here's the first video! This almost sounds like it should be on Endtime Productions if they were Christian. It's some good quality metal.

Reminds me if Amon Amarth did black metal.

Why do a lot of black metal bands have song titles as Roman numerals?

Minimalistic aesthetic. It beats what noisecore does: all tracks untitled

The vocals are interesting. Which there were a bit more to the drums, but I dig it.

Holy frickin' crap man. I laughed at the song names at first, but this is incredibly beautiful black metal. Thank you for this suggestion. I need to get this release!
EDIT: Can't believe they only asked a dollar for that album man. I gave them 7. Totally worth it.

Wow, that sounds awesome. It just gets better as the album goes on.
Not sure how much I personally will be listening to it, I don't really listen to much atmospheric black these days, but when I do, I will definitely have to keep this one in mind!

I discovered Mesarthim a little while ago and quite liked their sound too. I haven't bought anything yet, but probably will in the future.

It's a huge improvement on their debut album which I did buy once Avantgarde Music released it with the bonus song Isolate. I'm glad you guys like this. I'm been listening to them a lot recently. I honestly think the first song is the best though. Last song is cool too, with its doom metal influence.

I jammed this in the car while running errands today. Didn't get to soak it up much because my wife and I are constantly talking in the car. LOL

Jamming this right now. It's a little raw, but beautiful. It reminds me of Lantlos a bit,

Well the song on ↑ that link felt like waiting through 4 minutes of easy listening before it finally kicked in. ...the other songs on their 7 OTHER ALBUMS are pretty fucking rad. I'm half tempted to buy their whole discography on their bandcamp. marecognitum.bandcamp.com/

Okay I just had a total eargasm just now. This band is absolutely incredible!!!!!! And the cool thing is that they write leads in the same manner I do! This will definitely find its way on my list of influences. Time to buy another album!
(side note: don't watch the video after half way through,it totally loses its synchronization)

Mare Cognitum's new album was named Bandcamp's 44th best album of the the year, which is pretty good considering how much music gets released on there.

Mare Cognitum's new album was named Bandcamp's 44th best album of the the year Was this by category? 44th best METAL album? Or 44th best album PERIOD? Both are awesome, but one is significantly greater than the other...
