So a little while ago NocturnalIrridescence introduced me to a Christian noisegrind project called Decimate Damnation on his YouTube channel. (Link below) after doing intensive research, I found the guy who did it!! Unfortunately the dude isn't a Christian now and most likely never felt Jesus's love. But he gave me full reign to use the songs on compilations and on my promo page!!!

That's a shame, that he left the faith. Hopefully/prayerfully he comes back someday. I really like how this sounds, though, and along with the few bands we have now, I would like to hear more of it - if I can figure out how to make music like this, maybe I'll try noisegrind.
Believe me, it seems simple, but for whatever reason, just "jamming" / recording each instrument in one take never seems to work well for me.

Noisegrind is the EASIEST genre (with typical rock instruments) to record. The only stuff that's easier is lowercase and field recordings, and even those have their challenges. Just try spazzing out. Don't care about music theory, it doesn't exist in noisegrind. Just be fast.
This is when guitar masturbation becomes a real tool. Just slide a Barre (or even just one finger on a string) up and down the guitar while trempicking.

Just slide a Barre (or even just one finger on a string) up and down the guitar while trempicking. This was how I thought all metal was back before I was a metalhead, and it was basically how I would describe it to make fun of it. I don't remember what exactly it was that I heard...maybe I heard noisegrind and mistook it for death metal. People tend to mistake any kind of music with harsh vocals for death metal or screamo...
