We have just launched our indiegogo campaign to raise funds for an outreach vehicle. The plan is to get a 60s or 70s model Cadillac Hearse and have a full vehicle wrap designed not only with the Reanimated Radio logos, but also to deliver a message with a "dead to self" theme. This car will be taken to area shows and festivals as well as some car shows to serve as a ministry and outreach tool. A longterm goal is to eventually take part in the annual HearseCon in Denver, Colorado. This is the largest hearse convention in the world, and attracts quite a unique audience. These are primarily people that the church tends to ignore, so we want to show them that you can be a Christian and still have fun. We also plan on keeping a box of Metal Bibles in the hearse to give out as well. Please take a look at our Indiegogo page, watch our introduction video and check out our cool reward packages. You can also see some various HearseCon videos to give you an idea what type of crowd we will be ministering to. Our goal is 10,000 +1,000 for taking card of the rewards. The goal budget is broken down like this: $5,000 budget for a hearse $4,000 budget for a full wrap $1,000 budget for a custom cover Even if you cant give please share this on social media to get the word out.

Posted some updates to the campaign and also added some pictures of other hearses for your admiration. Take a look at the new photos on our page:

I think this is cool. That Reanimobile would draw some people in, then you got a metal hook infused with the bands bringing the witnessing. Let me check my funds. I'd like to put something in the hat for this.

Thanks, the long term goal here is to eventually be able to take this thing to HearseCon in Denver, Colorado. Many years ago the Lord placed it on my heart to take the Word to them. What I want to do is after wrapping the hearse with a "dead to self" design along with the Reanimated logos, is buy a bunch of Metal Bibles and keep them in the back of the hearse to give out as needed. My goal is not to go out there and preach to them but to simply be an example and draw some attention, so they some people may talk to me for more info, at which point I will offer one of the metal bibles. Sometimes planting a seed in someone's heart can be more effective than taking a platform.
I want to show them that just because they drive hearses, dress goth, have piercings, tattoos or whatever that does not mean God doesn't want you. I feel being there with our own hearse can be a way to show them that you can still be a Christian and keep your individuality, since the traditional church would tell them otherwise.
This video promo for their 2013 meeting does a good job of showing exactly what kind of crowd im targeting. Its clear from the video that they aren't too crazy about religion or God.

Sent my contribution!
That video, LOL, there's some cringe-worthy stuff in that "preaching". I cringe because there's enough truth in the presentation that it explains why they interpret religion that way.

It has been awhile since I posted. Last month we purchased a 1968 Cadillac Hearse/Ambulance to use as the base for this project. The first matter is restoring the car itself, then will come the visual part.
Unfortunately despite budgeting everything out. Our mechanical repair budget was so far ended up being more than quadruple what I had planned out, so the paint will have to wait. But we do have the car! and have a lot of work to do in the meantime:

I was already pretty down in the dumps yesterday but I thought to myself "I will feel alot better if my siren comes in the mail today im sure". So I get home and see the box and I get excited, I open it up and it was packed pretty well. Then I see this... That clear glass dome was original from the 1960s and is extremely rare, this does not help.

The brake booster failed last month and I have been awaiting a backordered part to repair it. Brakes still work, I just dont have POWER brakes. But given the car weighs around 8,000 pounds I am limiting my weekly driving to around the neighborhood, just to be safe.

8000 WOW, and I thought my CX5 was heavy..this hearse is a tank. If I coast down a big hill it gets a little scary. it picks up momentum so fast.
