Hello!
I'm delighted to stumble upon a forum such as this.
Are any of you familiar with other Christian oriented black metal/ ambient bands such as Reverorum Ib Malacht? These kinds of bands tend to linger i obscurity, so I thought this might be a good forum for my inquiry.
If I may, then I would like to share my own musical contribution on the subject of Christian doom/ambient [guitarpro]
May the light of Christ shine upon you
/H

Greetings spiritussancti! Glad you're here!
Nice ambient track! Oh yeah, there's people here (more knowledgeable than myself) on Christian black metal. I've seen discussion here on Reverorum Ib Malacht, and many other projects.
Please enjoy your stay!!

Hi! I'm almost certain Emil's side project, Dödfödd, is also Christian now. I know Emil specifically referred to the new album Stigma as "Roman Catholic Black Metal"; I think "Demo 15" is also Christian. Otherwise, the closest I can think of would be Bozkath - Catacomb EP, some music I made. It's more "in-your-face" than the music I know from Reverorum, but I definitely think you'd like it. If you want more ambient stuff, the song you shared (which I like, by the way!) is almost identical to Betheos Abshalom, who plays experimental raw black metal / ambient stuff. He also has a dark ambient side project. There aren't many bands that sound a lot like Reverorum ib Malacht. If you like them, you might also like In the Midst of Wolves, who play black noise (Note, this is their only demo so far.) Cephalophore plays dark ambient/noise stuff. Order of Melchizedek plays mostly dark ambient, with some noise now and then. On the Throne plays drone / dark ambient - I like it, but it's not very "eventful". Flock of Crows plays drone/dark ambient with some occasional metal. Nachfolge plays experimental black/noise. Weapons of Indignation plays music that's kind of similar in style to Reverorum, but the overall atmosphere is a lot "brighter". † plays a very "doomy" kind of dark ambient. You might also like Random Dragon, The Five Wounds of Christ, The Third Heaven, and The Incorruptible Corpse of Saint Bernadette, more noise/ambient bands, though I should point out, I don't agree with most of these projects' ideologies - they're too "mysticism" based for me, but if you're Catholic or Orthodox, you probably won't mind. I like the music, anyway.

Thank you! Well, maybe. Soon I'll have enough material for a release. If there is enough interest in my music after that then I'll consider releasing it in physical form:) Here is a sample of what's upcoming if anyone is interested: soundcloud.com/flagelladei/ihs-o-ignee-spiritus-demo

Well let me know if you are down for a release. Would be glad to do it.
I can clearly see your music is very spiritual and Holy Spirit gifted.
Whatever suits you best!

Sure. If ever the time comes and you want me to do it. Let me know.
Humbleness is that which brings us closest to Christ I think.

I am a quite active user of Bandcamp and their app for Android is pretty good too so it makes it easy to listen to on the go. I also share your love for Reverorum Ib Malacht! That is one weird band Still havent picked up all the versions of the Dom Mysteriis though. There is someone selling the whole package plus a rare t-shirt for 99 euros at Discogs. Feel free to grab it if you need it though, I am content on buying them individually Although I think, when you look at the individual prices of especially the LP and Tape, it could become cheaper to buy that package thing.

Oh, thanks for the recommendation! I would love to have that! Unfortunately I'm a poor student so I can't really afford it xD Which of their releases do you like the most? My favorites are Urkaos and the casette and Lp version of de Mysteriis Dom Christi.
