Hello there!
First of all I haven't posted since last year so, Happy new year!
So I want to ask you people if you know any Christian Doom Metal bands that have that slow and heavy sound like (Nox Aurea or Shape of dispair - Non christian bands) Because yeah I have listened bands like paramecium, morphia and others but I'm searching specially for heavy slow tempo sounds like those bands I mentioned before. If you know any bands like those let me know!
Thanks! Stay Blessed!

Hey! Good to see you here dude! Unfortunately, there really isn't a whole ton of bands that style within the Christian scene. You might want to check out this thread though: theblackestlight.freeforums.net/thread/89/christian-doom-death-dark-metalI'd probably suggest checking out Sawol's demo and full-length (before they changed their sound which while still quite good, is far from doomy) and maybe Agonal, though they've been making quite a stir lately (see separate thread about them) with some Facebook comments about Christian metal = evil, etc. (It's very possible they just got hacked...) For something really slow, you might like Faithless Minutes Devoured. A highly underrated band is Implacable but perhaps because they only ever released a few demos (which are available to download for free from their website).

Thanks Kerrick I did really enjoy Agonal and let me know anything else about their status cuz I did find their facebook and found the weird posts. Hope everything is okay with them. I'll check the other bands too. Hello Thomas and thanks!

Right on! Yeah I haven't heard anything new about Agonal. Hopefully an announcement will be made that it's all just a hoax and that some 14-year-old kid hacked into the account but it's all dealt with now and everything's fine and normal...
I look forward to hearing what you think of the other bands too!

Well,Ashen mortality was really good old school sound with good female voice. My favorites are Cloth, Dalit and Ekklesiast specially this last one, just what I really was looking for! Paramecium,Seventh angel and virgin black are old ones that I do know. I like paramecium and Virgin black but for some things I have read in the past I'm ignorant if Virgin Black are entirely christians or not. Sawol is the only one I haven't check by the moment! Thanks man!

David Coats has released the Faithless Minutes Devoured album with extra tracks on his Bandcamp. It's free (name your price). He has several of his other projects on there, too (mostly drone stuff.) Also, you might check out the funeral doom of Barabbas. Their album Golgotha is now available on Bandcamp. It is also name your price. They're really slow; (but I'm not familiar with the acts you referenced.) This is the Barabbas from Germany, who I think are Christians. Not the Barabbas from France - also doom metal (classic doom) - who I think are just trying to make fun of Christians. (Neither is any relation!)

David Coats has released the Faithless Minutes Devoured album with extra tracks on his Bandcamp. It's free (name your price). He has several of his other projects on there, too (mostly drone stuff.) Interesting! Since I have the CD, I'm not sure if I need the other version but if it's free... Thanks for sharing!

Shape of Despair! Hey nice! Daniel Neagoe's other band Vaer's bassist's side project Imber Luminis who featured Daniel on before, allowed me to write lyrics for the first song off the new album which should be out this year!!!!
There really isn't much christian doom in the vein that I like. Virgin Black is freaking amazing though and top tier in what they do both christian and secular.
This band is pretty good. Love the artwork and guitarwork on this album. But excuse the cringeworthy song title

Man I'm really in the mood for some new doooooooooooooom... Does it have to be really slow-tempo stuff, or can it be any kind of doom? You might like Evangelist. It seems that not all of their lyrics are Christian, but some of them are, and the members are Christian [Catholic].

If you haven't heard the new Pylon, it's pretty good.

If you haven't heard the new Pylon, it's pretty good. Thanks guys. I'm familiar with both of those bands and for whatever reason, neither of them quite do it for me. I really like Evangelist's sound (reminds me of Forsaken: one of my favorites) but their songs are missing something I can't quite put my finger on. Perhaps I should give Pylon more of a chance. I have their split with My Silent Wake and the MSW material is phenomenal, but the Pylon songs I thought were pretty weak. I haven't listened to their newest stuff though so maybe I should check it out!

Kerrick I am pretty sure the A Lament album by Pÿlon will leave you a much better taste in the mouth than that split with MSW. I think the 'A Lament' album is their best and is very, very good. My favourite would be the song 'Pantodynamos'. It has everything the rhythm, melody, vocals and lyrics. Though it is all a matter of taste in the end. If the MSW split songs are your reference I think they deserve a second chance.

A Lament album by Pÿlon will leave you a much better taste in the mouth than that split with MSW I totally agree. I think it's better than either "The Harrowing of Hell" or "Homo Homini Lupus". Sounds more mature, better riffs, better solos. And, as much as it pangs me to say because I love Nomad Son, a better vocalist.

BartimaeusYou are right. These vocals fit the style much better. Overall it is their best album. Though I think 'Doom'' comes second and 'Armoury of God' third.

Recently, somewhere within 2 months ago at most i reckon i purchased the full length album; Abominio - Alter Funebre and have been listening too it at my drawing table, feeling it could easily be a band too open for Paramaecium. Well, Exhumed Of The Earth could easily be in my top 5 album's of of all time. Winter 1993 that album was dope to me!still is.

I bought this album on a lark off of Metal Helm, one of my better purchases. I thoroughly enjoy it as well.
