I am putting this here, since I dont know what kind of music they are aiming for Hopefully they will attract good quality underground metal, especially the black kind. "We are a small lo-fi Spirit Filled Metal label working as a subsidiary of Rottweiler Records." www.facebook.com/NosralRecordingsE: Fixed the link

Personlly I would love to hear a band that has the musical perfection of Burzum's "Filosofem" mixed with equal lyrical genius of the guys from A Hill To Die Upon Not that I am against more straight forward christian message, but the Cook brothers really get to me lyrically and when it comes to black metal, aesthetics have become a big thing for me. Not meaning that one tries to be something that one is not, of course, but just that it is beyond shock value or something like that.

I contacted the label about what kinds of music and they responded "All forms of Christian extreme metal. Even ambient is acceptable." Thomas Eversole This might be the type of label for which you are looking for your martial industrial/ambient project. If anyone is interested in submitting music, they say to send tagged MP3s to nosralrecordings@gmail.com.

Included Disgyblaeth track 3. (since I also used that track on a recent video)

Rottweiler seems like a legit label, so I hope this sublabel thing is good too. Not that I like all the music the main label has put out, but the guy running it seems to do things well.

I've talked with Rottweiler before. Obviously working with them didn't pan out, but they seemed to have a legit interaction, with me at least - from my perspective.
Its no secret that I'm very particular in regards to the time of email responses back. We're fast approaching the 24 hour mark since I've sent that promo. If we reach the "days" mark, it doesn't matter how good the label is, if it takes 4 days for them to find 10 seconds to say "Hey thanks for the submission. We'll review it and let you know.", then - I'm no longer interested.
I've already been "signed" by so many labels, there is ZERO desperation to have an album "professionally release" or "associated with a label". Been there. Done that. Not worth the waiting when I could just do this now myself.
I think that's one reason why I've liked working with Vision of God so much. I reach out, he reaches back, usually within hours.

Here I say this, and they reply soon after. Less than 24 hours is a good response time, in my opinion! They want to hear more. They've asked about my "fan base" and if I would consider doing more of this music.

Haven't heard anything back as of yet. ...but I did send him the whole album to review and its only been 5 days. I understand that probably more than one person will want to spin it multiple times before they decide to give me the green (or red) light.
If I don't hear anything by the 18th (2 week mark) I'll ping them again.

Finally heard back! Haven't had the chance to reply yet, but I figured copying and pasting a few quotes from the email would cover the bases. "I would like to put this ambient album out at some point.I would like to first put out a couple extreme metal releases so I do not get stuck as just an ambient label." "I would love to have this release put out as professional CDR." "I need to get contracts put together" "this album has a great feel and provides a great atmosphere btw"

Cool!, i think Sebat used the Nosral name on a forum, i guess it's him. I did an album cover and logo for him for a project called Old Man Frost he was doing back in 2010 i think it was, dont know if it got released though?

Great to hear, Thomas! Vinyl would also be an interesting format for this kind of stuff. Since Fragile Branch is doing Vials of Wrath re-rerelease, they should pick your stuff up too (Somehow that label came into my mind, dont know why)!

Vision of God is re-releasing all my Christian metal. Akryal, EverSoul, GRIM, All Orationems as a box set, etc.
Nosral has an interest in Orationem, but obviously I agreed to let Duane handle it.
I might offer Ankou Awaits to Nosral... see if he has any interest.

Shawn seems like a good guy and we've always had good interactions. It probably helps that he's a musician too so he knows how artists want to be treated by labels.

I might offer Ankou Awaits to Nosral... see if he has any interest. I hope this isn't a surprise or disappointment for anyone.... I've pulled my request for Nosral to release the Disgyblaeth album. Several reasons - 1) The communication element is lacking. I'm not extremely confident in working with someone that takes a month to reply. 2) Vision of God Records shot Disgyblaeth down because Duane doesn't think anything with the "Ambient" descriptor is a fit for his label. Once he listened to it, he liked it, though he wouldn't call it "ambient" OR "martial industrial". He's going to release the Disgyblaeth album as well as an Ankou Awaits release or two...
