I'm pretty sure it's a Hindu band because of all the references to Brahman.

One of his other projects has a reference to "om", which is a mantra popular with new-age groups and - unsurprisingly - eastern spirituality which a lot of new-age stuff comes from. Edit: And I see upon closer inspection, that the album linked in the original post has the "om" symbol in the artwork.

Eh, it's tricky, because we use a generic term to refer to a specific deity. "God". We don't really use YHWH or Jehova (El Shaddai, etc) so it's easy to get confused between God, the creator of the universe, and "God", the generic term that people use to refer to anything they perceive as a deity.
There's a similar dilemma with the Arabic word "Allah".

Not that it necessarily says anything about the motivations behind the band or stuff like that. Quite possibly this was one of those projects that started as a christian thing and ended up not being that anymore. It is kind of sad how often it has happened with these kind of underground acts.

I'v got the first Job CD, It's funeral doom with just one long song on it. I cant find where it is exactly in my collection but i got from the DMD and thought it had a Christian worldview for some reason, guess i'll see when i find it. I remember the guy behind it was an active member of the old Firestream forum back in 2005-07 before the hack deletion and he had 2 really cool unblack projects back then called Beseech (old-skool style) and Lain (atomospheric depressive) as i vaguely remember there was just myspace songs to play.
edit ; just clicked your link there it is the same as the CD.

I agree with DrawnSword. I also considered him and his projects to be done from a christian point of view. The song Coram Deo's lyrics could be overtly christian interpreted. Also his profile picture displays some kind of christian saint? I remember that project Lain. He had on some wordpress site or something an instrumental demo up for free download.

I vaguely remember there being a myspace for Beseech with a track or two. It was old-school style and the impression was something thrown together as an experiment test. I liked it at the time because it was raw, though it was probably total crap.

I wouldn't claim anything about this person's beliefs. I can opine that the lyrics to A Psalm... do not seem to accord so well with Christianity, particularly "Not I, No self, just Self" given the perspective that God created us each unique and distinct from others and Himself, and the "Brahman" stuff, which I don't think is used outside of Hinduism. Cool music. I dig it.

^I have a vague recollection from years ago of hearing that this was not a Christian project. Has anyone tried to contact the artist? He may be able to settle things.

I listened to A Psalm for the First Cause and Last Refuge today. I really enjoyed it musically. It's definitely not a Christian project -- you can tell by the spoken word part in the second half.
