Sorry for the language on the screenshot. Malakh is back. And he is NOT a practicing Christian. Avoid phonies like this. We want TRUE CHRISTIAN'S in the Christian metal scene. His history and actions of today speak for themselves. You will recieve no support from Vision of God Ministries Was tickled to see he was back. Then message him to get told to f. Off for asking if he is a practicing Christian again. That means no by the way Have to call out a true poser. U want meat or milk There isnt either in Malakh.

I wonder if the dude has some kind of mental problem. That is WEIRD that he keeps going back and forth like this. I understand spiritual struggles, but to [supposedly] change that much in a few days? That's weird.
From pagan, to Christian, (to jewish?), to pagan, to Christian, all in the span of 2 years, and now just saying "fuck off" to someone you were being friendly to a few days ago??

We all reap what we sow. Sounds like he needs to sow some bipolar meds. Like a solid 1 acre plot of them. ._.

I'm out of the loop on who this even is........ Malakh did a release (EP I think?) of Christian black metal. He was one of the projects ripped off by Mike Q of BMU/Martyrdom. He used to do secular metal (Apparition is still cool IMO) and he's of Korean decent I believe. There was some controversy about him even then, and with this example, it looks like the final tally is: Wasn't a Christian Is a Christian Said metal is evil Went back to doing Appirition (secular metal) Said he's going to do another Malakh release (Christian) but "fuck off". In other words, hot cold hot cold hot cold, spin the wheel for what's next. I'm betting hot.

I see.
I'm betting I'll stay apathetic to drama, and move on to a musician that doesn't make me roll my eyes at it all 😁

He just made a post on FB: "Malakh is a warrior who punishes evil but not affected by certain religions and ideas. We also acknowledge past Christian ideas. We do not create music for money, honor and popularity. We fight the corrupt and rotten negative falsehood of society. It does not matter whether the form is Christian or Buddhist, Judaism or Islam. You can think of us as Christians, Jews, or Buddhists. On the contrary, you may think that you are a demon who wears a sheep's scarf. If you want to listen to malakh's music, Just listen. If you do not want to listen to malalkh's music, Do not listen. We have never asked you to listen to our music. However, when you visit someone else's place, try to keep a minimum of courtesy. Malakh are a Korean team. In Korea, people who do not respect courtesy are considered to be duel applicants. We can not understand your rudeness. Anyways. We do not care about all human thoughts and prejudices. The soldiers of the gods only practice orders. Malakh only exercises the command of Truth and God. God Bless. -Dan (檀)" Seems, they are quite "new age". To bad, the christian "scene" is quite infected with a lot of fake-christians..like the rest of the worl

"You can think of us as Christians, Jews, or Buddhists." "Malakh only exercises the command of Truth and God."
Which god, exactly? Last I checked, those three religions do not affirm each other, and thus one cannot truly follow all three...

good question, here we have a good example of the "spirit of confusion" in action. Many these days believe in a "god" their personal god. Combining parts of different religions, ideas, feelings into a big pile of dangerous garbage that leads into damnation. Quite sad.

Malakh is a warrior who punishes evil but not affected by certain religions and ideas. We also acknowledge past Christian ideas. [...] It does not matter whether the form is Christian or Buddhist, Judaism or Islam. You can think of us as Christians, Jews, or Buddhists. [...] The soldiers of the gods only practice orders. Malakh only exercises the command of Truth and God. That kind of explains his previous posts, then. So he's not into Korean mythology / paganism anymore, but he's not a "Christian" (by definition) either. Still a shame, though. I am glad that he tolerates Christians, and that he seeks truth -- a lot of people do not seek truth or justice, and would rather just revel in evil -- but the fact still remains that regardless, the only way to the full truth is through Jesus Christ, and the only way to true justice is in Jesus' teachings -- thus, pure Christianity. And I know the world works hard to make that sound bad, but I hope and pray that Dan can look past that, and the ideas he has currently adopted, and accept full truth and justice in Christ.

Not trying to be the devil's advocate here but.... One thing that I've found out (especially being a Mod on Discord FOR a Korean game) is that some people that come across as "stupid" or "crazy", there's actually a legitimate language barrier. A disconnect in communication can definitely come across that way. I don't want to stereotype, but it seems like a lot of Koreans understand the English language as far as structure, (what's written makes sense) but don't grasp many definitions and virtually no slang (what they're writing in YOUR language isn't entirely what they actually mean). That being said, perhaps he is a Christian. There's no way to know someone's heart, but people in secular black metal don't tend to close their remarks with "God bless", or openly make references to "truth and God". Perhaps the "It does not matter whether the form is Christian or Buddhist, Judaism or Islam." is an attempt at voicing a mutual respect for religions. I'm kind of in the same boat regarding that. If someone is lost, absolutely I'll try to bring them the light of Christ. If someone is a DEVOUT (can't stress that D word enough) ANYTHING and they reject the light I bring, well... at some very near point, I'm going to live and let live. This doesn't mean getting involved with their beliefs like everything is ok. ...but it doesn't mean browbeating them constantly, reminding them that they're going to hell either. As far as the fuck off thing, I think I can completely chalk that up to culture/language barriers. He's used that before, if you guys remember this gem of a Malakh picture: If you guys remember in a post I made a while ago, in my experience with hanging out with Antestor in '99, shit has as much of a negative stigma there as the word "dirt" does in the US. Anyway, the TL;DR version - no way to tell if he's a Christian or not as only God sees in the heart, but I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt because it looks like he's trying - the fuck off and supposedly aligning with multiple religions I'm chalking up to a language barrier / this probably shouldn't be read too much into - I still think he's hot cold hot cold with his project direction / Christian music? Not Christian music? For me myself, this doesn't matter. Much like he said here: If you want to listen to malakh's music, Just listen. If you do not want to listen to malalkh's music, Do not listen. If its awesome, I'll listen and enjoy it. Regardless of whether its Christian, satanic or anywhere in between.

I know this much I asked him if he had come back to Christ. Since the last I knew he had said Metal Is Evil, then he went to Satanic Metal, then he came back but said he is unblack but not Christian? Well Just simply asking him about the new album and if he had come back to Christ then I NEVER got a answer back. Totally ignored me. This is far different than my interaction with him in the past especially in reference to him being a Christian. In the past he couldn't tell me enough about him being a Christian and now he ignores me about it? And in that facebook post above tells VOG to F Off. That says it all to me.

Whole situation is very odd. I'll definitely check out his lyrics if he comes out with new music. Curiosity has me interested for sure.
