This past Friday night I got to see In Flames here in Santa Cruz which was an absolute blast! I lost my watch in the mosh pit and didn't even realize it haha. (But now I need to buy a new watch... ) Wovenwar and All That Remains opened who were both pretty decent, though not my style. Anyways, what concerts have you gone to recently or are excited for?

I haven't seen In Flames for years. 2005 or 2006 was the last time I saw them. I (used to) like the old stuff, melodic, Swedish death metal. Colony was their last ok album. in my opinion.
Watched Mayhem not so long ago. I have seen them several times. But maybe this was the best concert. Tight, tight, tight!! HellHammer is the best BM drummer ever. And the whole band was really energetic. Chaotic and professional. Last weekend I attend a punk concert with The Dogs. A small Norwegian punk rock band. it was brilliant

March 27th I'm going to see Jason Aldean, Cole Swindel, Tyler Farr and Dee Jay Silver. Should be a shindig hootenanny of a hoedown! Wait. This is metal concerts. Nevermind.

Not with all their shenanigans. They've been around over 25 years though - they SHOULD be the best.

I'm actually not a "fan" of them: I don't own any of their music or know any of their songs or anything. But I've seen 'em twice now and they really do put on a great show. Quality metal only comes around so often in Santa Cruz so I try to make it out to as many shows as I can, even if they're not bands I necessarily follow.
